Cloriphus was said to be the finest fighter in all of Greece. He had fought foes far and wide, at one point challenging the premier fighter of Persia. His fame garnered many consorts, his most favorite being Phillipa. One day, Cloriphus returned to find Phillipa with another man, who soon met a quick death. Enraged, Phillipa alerted local soldiers about Cloriphus, only to be beaten one by one until Phillipa herself fell him with a dagger. As punishment, Cloriphus was banished to the hellish land of Tartarus and sentenced to pummel through a lone mountain until the end of time.
