Little Sue's brother had left to join his father in the war to protect their homeland beside the Shadowy Peaks, leaving her alone with their mother to hope for the best outcome possible. Before leaving, Big Tom had given Little Sue access to a secret spell that she could use to help out the family while he was gone. Day after day for weeks, Little Sue practiced from the ridden parchment to conjure its contents, all the more on the edge of giving in. With her final try, Little Sue gave her hands a big clap, spouting a glowing fireball.
