It started out as just another day of protests against the government in the city center. Jobs were drying up, aid was not getting through, the power was cutting out, and prices were sky-high. People had had enough, forcing some to take out their anger on the streets in front of the National Parliament building. An uproar sprang out of nowhere when the crowd barged through the front gates and stormed the building. The flocking protestors found several armed guards siding with them, taking up positions by the windows as the unthinkable happened. The regime was coming to an end.
