I woke up to the sounds of alarms going off. Looking over at the door I saw Rome talking to someone, he comes over and tells me to follow the guy he was talking to. So I got up put on my robe, picked up a sleeping River and grabbed her blanket. I walked out of the room following the guy into River's room, he tells me to hide in the closet and I play along with this whole thing. I sit down with River, wait until I hear the door closes and I turn on a light.
"Bumblebee I need you to wake up." I gently say as I lightly run my fingers through her hair.
"Nu mama." River says as she snuggles more into my chest.
"Daddy here's to rescue us bumblebee." I say giving her a kiss on the forehead.
That instantly wakes River up, she stretches her arms and smiled at me behind her paci. I grabbed her bag that I hid, so I would have it ready. I listen to the gunshots coming for Rome's men and I was trying my best to keep River distracted from everything. I decided to play a game with River while I listen to everyone move, hoping that I will hear Pietro soon.
"Mama?"River says as she sitting in my lap.
"Yeah bumblebee?" I say as she plays with my fingers.
"Dada 'ere?" River asked as she hugs me.
"Soon bumblebee." I tell her as I listen to out.
"Princezná, musíme vás odtiaľto dostať." I hear Pietro say. (Princess we have to get you guys out of here.)
"Come on River daddy's here." I say picking here up and walking out with a half sleepy River in my arms.
"There's my girls." Pietro says kissing me and then giving River a kiss.
"Dada!" River squealed excitedly and made grabby hands towards Pietro. ♥️♥️
"Hi bumble. Are you ready to go?" Pietro says as he takes her out of my hold.
Pietro goes over the plan with me before passing River back to me. I'm was really glad he brought me my knives. I followed Pietro out, then we started walking down the all hallway, watching every corner and making sure no one is going to pop out. All I could hear was silence, it was the good kind either. When we made it downstairs, I saw Sharon coming up to us and telling us we needed to leave now.
