𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵-𝟭:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺
I was in the backseat of the car with River on the way to my house. I was really excited and nervous to see my mother. Amira asked me if I was okay and I told her yeah I was. I guess she could tell that I was nervous. It was about 𝟮:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺 when we pulled into the driveway. My heart wouldn't stop racing, that I thought it was going to burst out of my chest.
"Amira can you please go with me? I'm too nervous to go bye myself." I asked my best friend hoping she'll say yes.
"Yeah I'll go. Pietro I'll be right back." Amira says to him.
"Bye River, I'll see you soon." I say to River giving her a hug.
"Bye bye." River says giving me a hug and waving bye as I got out of the car.
As Amira and I walked up the driveway I was taking in the scenery. The house looked the same as when I was a child. My bought the house after she divorce my father, I remember running around the front yard trying to catch butterflies while my mother was planting flowers. My mother reading to me while we sit on the porch swing. She always made sure I was loved and safe.
Before I knew it Amira and I were on the front porch. Amira asked me if I was ready, I said yes and rang the doorbell. Man was I nervous, my heart was pounding and it felt like my heart was going burst out of my chest. I don't know why but it felt like forever for my mom to come answer the door. I could hear the door being unlocked and I became more nervous and excited at the same time. As so as that door open I my eyes were met with my mom. She was starting at me like I was real and it was her imagination.
