Gathering my belongings, I'm free from the awkward tense conversation I was dragged in. Utterly pointless. I grab everything and search for Eve and Grace but off the train is swarmed by first years. A big Giant professor is hopelessly trying to gain their attention.

"Maelyn Sylvainna Estelle." My name lingering off his tongue with coldness. That would be my uncle. Severus.

"Uncle! I mean professor... have you seen Evangeline or Grace? I've lost them." I worry but they push through a couple of first years and stood next to me.

"After the first years are sorted in their houses, you three are next. I'll see you in there." He sneered with coldness in his voice.

"What an uncle you've got there. He's never fun at your family parties." Eve observed.

"Yeah wonder how he got a job as a teacher. He hates children." Grace added on.

"Oh shut up. Let's go." I seethed.

Being sorted in another house can be nerve racking. Grace gets way too worked up and worried about these things and tried running out on our ceremony at Ilvermony. Let's hope that doesn't happen again. I mean she was younger then but still could happen.

"Mae. Maeeee. I don't think I could do this. I'm gonna be sick." Grace whines grabbing my arm tight.

"Don't be stupid Grace. It's not even bad. Look at all these 1st years doing it." I try to calm her but her grip is getting too tight.

"I heard they put out a huge table and we take a big test! A test so hard that 5th years wouldn't pass." Eve grinned.

"No no I can't d-"

"How is that even possible Eve. She's just putting shit in your head." I ranted.

"What's your problem? I was only joking." Eve complained.

I just want this ceremony to happen so I can go to my dorm and relax. My heads been pounding and I just need some quiet time. Professor Mcgonagall walks into the hall and gives the 1st years their speech. Her head turns to us and gives us instructions as well. The doors open to the great hall and by far this place was cleaner and nicer than Ilvermony.

Names are called and the line just gets shorter and shorter until it's Eves turn.

"Hmmm yes... you do have some courage but- I see– cunning. Ah yes. Challenging.... SLYTHERIN!" The hat called out. Eve then made her way to the rest of the house.

Grace is shaking and you can see her head spinning. She sat down and the hat was placed upon her head.

"Something quite different I see... got some wisdom in you... very intelligent mind. RAVENCLAW!" The hat shouted.

Finally it was my turn. I sat on the chair and the hat touches my head. I could feel it's ugly rags messing up my hair.

"You're an easy one to read... SLYTHERIN!" The hat yelled louder than everyone before. Easier and more dramatic than I had expected. Although I think it's time for Hogwarts to have found a new hat preferably one that doesn't reek of moldy scent.

I sat myself down next to Eve and I knew the two of us would be sorted in a house together again. Grace like last time on her own. Eve kept turning to face behind her to talk to Harry and Ron while I sat playing with my food.

"So you've gotten sorted in slytherin. Not a surprise to me." Blaise teased.

"How are you surprised Blaise? She's a bitch with no manors." Draco hissed while Pansy by his side as always.

"Yeah Malfoy. That exact reason is why I got sorted into this house. Explains why you're such an ass." I snapped back.

"What are you guys going on about?" Eve questioned. Harry stands up and stands behind Eve and I, trying to tell Draco and his friends. I was handling it pretty well. I've had enough food so I stand up and push myself past Harry and attempt to find my way to my dorm.

The Halls were easier to navigate than I thought and I finally made my way but it requires a password. How stupid could I be?

"Do you need the password?" A kind voice had asked as I turn to see a blonde girl with pink spectacles. She was in a Ravenclaw robe so how would she know our password?

"Umm yeah, how would you know it though?" I questioned as she walked up to me and held out her hand. I hold mine out and she shook it. Her and Grace have the same personality. Same whimsical voice. Just different bodies. It freaked me out.

"Blaise told me. We hang out a lot so I often know loads of passwords." She informed. After saying the word the passage to the common room had opened. It was beautiful and comfy. I left Luna taking twists and turns to find my way to the girls dorm until I find my room. It was quite big and only had one bed. I assume I got my own.

My things are all settled in and I lay on the small canopy bed in the middle of the room. There's a small balcony that overlooks the sea. Left on the bed was a note. "I made some adjustments to make your stay at hogwarts the best I could. - Uncle Severus"

My uncle can be intimidating but he really does have a heart. Don't know how he was able to get me my own dorm. I get out of my uniform and into some comfortable clothes and grace upon some of the books provided in my book shelf. A book stuck out like it wanted me to read it.

Tale of the Truth Untold

Haven't heard of the book before and there's no author. There's so many pages but as I flip through the rest of the book was unfinished or vanished. The words handwritten in ink. Turning the book back there was words unraveling in gold.

"You have unfinished business. There's no hiding anymore." Appeared then it suddenly disappeared.

I rush to my mothers journals and flip through the pages.

Entry 247.
It's been a couple years out of hogwarts. I had no intentions of my future being so dark but we were dragged into it. Both me and Narcissa. My best friend since we've gotten sorted into our houses.

To survive the threats of my future family I must join the Lords inner circle. Bella was the first while Narcissa and I are expected to be the same.

I quickly shut the first diary and open up the 3rd one. Each one is labeled by numbers.

Entry 683

My little Mae is now 7. There's too much darkness for her to be around. We must flee to America leaving Monday. It's challenging running from the dark lord but since he's disappeared it's our chance at a better life.

Narcissa has a little boy the same age. I offered them to join but her husband Lucius isn't fond of the idea.

My mother has always told me a little bit of history and how dark it would be if we were to ever return back here. She warned me but I never understood.

Soft knocks on my door startle me so I shuffle the book and diaries under my bed. "Come in." I reply but there was silence for a brief second.

The door opened and it was Eve.

"How unfair! You got your own room. I feel like you're avoiding me as well." She ranted.

"Uh yeah my uncle pulled a few strings for me." I reply but she looks annoyed.

"I share a room with Pansy and Astoria. They are nice but Pansy won't stop talking about Malfoy and I could feel the jealousy tension between Astoria and Pansy." She went on. Of course she'd share a room with two girls obsessed over the bleach blonde who I'm apparently close with.

"Sounds like a real fun experience. I've just been settling in. Being here feels weird." I go on.

My balcony doors fly open with a huge gust of wind out of nowhere. Cold chills sore through our spines.

"Did you do that?" Eve whipped her head to me.

"No. It was probably the wind." I say getting up to close the doors but there wasn't any wind.

Maybe students playing a prank on us or something. We are new here after all.
