Quick Note: Hey guys! Sooo, I made a big revision to the breathing forms because I wasn't entirely happy with the previous names and details. I've reworked everything to better match the theme and feel I was going for.
So here is the new and improved Neon Breathing forms — hope you all enjoy the updated version!

Neon Breathing (光呼吸 – Hikari no Kokyū) – Forms & Descriptions

First Form: Radiant Slash (光斬り – Kōgiri)

A foundational yet fierce technique. The user channels neon energy into their blade and executes a series of swift, intersecting horizontal and vertical slashes. Each stroke emits shimmering light trails—like glowing ribbons suspended in air—designed to overwhelm the enemy's vision and tracking ability. The dazzle effect causes a delay in enemy reaction, giving the user an upper hand in close-quarters combat. The more refined the user's breathing, the brighter and sharper the slashes become, almost blinding in low light.

Second Form: Prism Mirage (幻光 – Genkō)

This deceptive technique manipulates both light and perception. The user coats their blade in glittering neon particles which, upon release, scatter like stardust toward the target. The moment these particles touch the demon's body, they trigger a wave of hallucinations—illusions of past traumas, distorted surroundings, or phantom threats. These illusions are tailored to mentally disorient the demon, weakening their grip on reality. While under this confusion, the demon often lashes out aimlessly, leaving their body exposed for a precise and clean takedown.

Third Form: Luminous Requiem (光の鎮魂歌 – Hikari no Chinkonka)

A form of mercy reserved for demons who surrender or express remorse. The user calmly activates this form and, with a single graceful stroke, ends the demon's life painlessly. As the blade severs the neck, a radiant array of multicolored lights bursts gently into the air, swirling upward like fireflies. These lights momentarily form images from the demon's human life—echoes of childhood, family, or lost love—allowing the demon to fade away in peace. This technique demands utmost control, compassion, and stillness of heart.

Fourth Form: Blinding Pulse (閃光波 – Senkōha)

A defensive and evasive form used to disrupt the demon's senses. The user channels neon light into their blade and unleashes a sudden flash explosion of dazzling energy in all directions. This pulse blinds the demon for several seconds and creates a static humming in the air, interfering with any enhanced hearing. Useful for repositioning, escaping, or creating an opening for a follow-up attack. Prolonged or close-range exposure may affect the user's vision if not executed with discipline.

Fifth Form: Spiral Halo (螺旋光輪 – Rasen Kōrin)

An aerial combat technique where the user leaps or spins at high speed, channeling energy through their entire body. As they rotate, their blade emits concentric spirals of neon light, each swing generating outward shockwaves of glowing slashes. The result is a radiant cyclone of blades that can deflect projectiles and strike multiple enemies at once. This form is physically demanding and best used when surrounded or overwhelmed.

Sixth Form: Foresight Beam (未来閃 – Miraisen)

This rare technique grants the user heightened perception for a limited time. Their eyes glow with an intense neon violet light, allowing them to read micro-movements and predict the demon's next attack with split-second accuracy. During this trance-like state, time appears to slow down. It is ideal for high-speed one-on-one duels but heavily strains the user's concentration. The longer this form is held, the greater the toll—nosebleeds, migraines, and even temporary blindness may occur.

Seventh Form: Starlight Bind (星光の束縛 – Seikō no Sokubaku)

One of the deadliest and most strategically complex forms. The user charges their blade with volatile neon energy, releasing a toxic mist upon slashing the air. This mist—glowing faintly like stardust—enters the demon's lungs and begins a brutal internal attack. Seconds later, spectral neon arrows erupt from the demon's joints and chest, violently impaling them from within. These arrows halt regeneration and leave the demon immobilized or slowed, creating a perfect moment to strike. Because of its lethal nature, this form is rarely used unless absolutely necessary.

Eighth Form: Nova Detonation (閃爆 – Senbaku)

The ultimate and most destructive form. The user focuses every ounce of spiritual energy into the blade, igniting it with radiant neon-purple flames that burn hotter than traditional fire. Upon landing a blow, the flames engulf the demon's body, disintegrating flesh and halting regeneration almost instantly. However, the intensity of the energy can backfire—overuse causes severe damage to the wielder: skin burns, internal bleeding, migraines, and sensory overload. This form is a last resort and represents both the brilliance and the danger of Neon Breathing.
