Chapter 8: Wait a second

We had to wait a good hour before getting anything back from commissioner Montgomery. But when we got something, it was pretty extreme.

We all decided to hangout at Gold and I's place again. We were playing Genshin impact in my room until Gold came running in.

"Guys! Guys!" Gold yelled. "I got something!"

We all shut our games down and gathered around Gold as she sat down on the floor.

"Commissioner received another anonymous tip that the Dream team has plans to do the biggest jewelry heist in Canada."

"When? Where?" I asked.

"Don't know the date." Gold sighed. "But it's during...a mansion party a couple blocks away."

I groaned in annoyance.

"What's wrong with that?" Draco asked.

"Cause that house belongs to Felicia Wize, and Britney betterthanu." I said.

"They're some selfish girls that we have a small rivalry with." Gold added.

"Because they always assume their better than us cause they own a mansion."

"Funneh, the last time we saw them, you poured fake barf all over them."

"It was deserved."

The rest of the team laughed.

"Please have a video!" Draco said catching his breath.

"Actually.." I started with a devilish smirk.

"No way!" Lunar said.

We all gathered around my phone for the video.

Funneh: *whispering* Okay today were gonna prank those snobs right there.
*points to Felicia and Brittany*

I stopped the video. "The one with the red hair and pink top is Felicia. The other in white and blond hair is Brittany."

Gold: *whispering* This is still not a good idea.
Funneh: Course it's not. Now hold the camera.
*Gold gets closer while Funneh goes up some stairs*
Felicia: I swear Brittany. I think whoever wrote that note was talking total bologna.
Brittany: Yeah. We've been here for at least an hour.
Felicia: *sniffs the air* Can you smell that?
Brittany: *holding her nose* Yeah. Smells like...dog poo.
Funneh: In coming!
*Funneh pours the fake barf on them*
Felicia: Ahh! What the heck!
Brittany: Look! It's...Kat?
Funneh: *goes downstairs* Itsfunneh to you. (Get it?)
Felicia: I'm gonna go shower! *runs away*
Funneh: Shower you say?
Gold: Nope. Lets go.

Everyone was laughing at this point. Even Gold started laughing at my prank.

"Oh my god! I wish I could see the look on Felicia's face in person!" Rainbow said once she stopped laughing.

"Right! It would've been priceless!" Lunar agreed.

"So your name's Kat?" Draco asked.

"Kathrine actually. But I prefer Funneh." I shrugged.

"Well it's about time we properly introduced ourselves to each other." Rainbow said standing up "I'm Betty or agent PaintingRainbows. I like cake and playing video games."

We applauded to Rainbow as she sat down and Lunar stood up.

"I'm Wenny or agent Lunar3clipse. Inspired by my old villain name: Ms.3clipse. I like playing Genshin impact and eating food."

"I'm Allen or agent DraconiteDragon. I like playing Minecraft and eating dumplings."

"I'm Kimberly or agent GoldenGlare. I like pizza and cooking."

"I'm Kat or agent Itsfunneh. I like playing games and pranking people."

"Okay now that we're formally introduced," Rainbow said, "let's get back to work."

"Okay so the Dream team wants to do a heist. We can't allow that to happen obviously." Gold said.

"Right." I said. "We'll need away in or around there so we can keep eyes on him."

"About eyes on him." Gold said. "It's a masquerade party. We won't see anyone."

"And we still don't know what he looks like." Rainbow added.

"D'mnit." I thought about the problem for a second. "Ask commission about that spy. Maybe he can find a way into the Dream team."

"On it." Gold nodded.

"Meanwhile, Rainbow I heard your good with making costumes." I said.

"Well I'm not bad." She shrugged.

"I think I have a plan. But we'll need your skill."

"I won't let you down crew." Rainbow saluted.

"Wait a second. Crew?" I asked.

"Oh it's just...a name I call us. It's not even spelled right. I spelled it with a k." Rainbow said embarrassed.

"No. I like it." I said.

"Yeah!" Gold added. "It's so easy to say."

Lunar and Draco nodded in support as Rainbow's face lit up.

"Well krew," she said beaming, "let me know what costumes we'll need."

"I'll email the list in a bit."

"The spy is available and ready to go." Gold said.

"Already?"

"Yeah. He was suspiciously eager. We'll keep an eye on him."

"Good."

While Gold began typing away, I emailed Rainbow the list of costumes we'll need.

"Lunar, Can you make amnesia mist or dust? Amnesia and tranquility?" I asked.

"I can try. I'm a average witch." Lunar said rubbing the back of her neck.

"We're average in everything. It's fine."

As long as everything stayed in place, my plan could be flawless.
