Alexandra Clemens, who goes by Lexi, is a sophomore at William Henry Harrison High School and a member of the Forensics team. Lexi, along with her best friend Jax, is considered a model student with excellent grades who is involved with both the school's choir and the theatre program. Theatre is her true passion in life, and has always dreamed of making it on Broadway one day. Her love of theatre stems from her parents always playing musical soundtracks when she was a kid. Lexi is an incredibly sweet and kind hearted person who always goes out of her way to help others. She is also a major people pleaser and struggles to stick up for herself most of the time. Because of this, she finds herself in a toxic friendship with two other girls from the theatre department, Kayleigh and Corrine, at the beginning of the series. She also struggles with self confidence sometimes. She joins the Forensics team both out of her love of performing and because she loves Mr. Larson as a teacher. Joining the team helps her to build her self confidence and teachers her to stick up for herself.
