Jordan Everman is a sophomore at William Henry Harrison High School and a member of the Forensics team. He plays on the basketball team with his two best friends, Memphis and Rico. He is also good friends with Memphis's girlfriend, Chelsea. He is also very close to his dad, Derrick, who raised Jordan by himself after Jordan's mom passed. Jordan is your typical boy next door with strong moral values. Although Jordan is a good kid, he also lacks a lot of direction in his life. He is not very ambitious and struggles to find what his passions are in life. Because of this, he always feels like he's a few steps behind the rest of his classmates. Despite this, he is a hard working kid who strives to do his best. Jordan joins the Forensics team after Mr. Larson offers him extra credit in Honors English for joining the team. In doing Forensics, Jordan slowly discovers something that he is truly passionate about.
