Chapter 41

Tori's POV:

The bell rang for the end of the day so I gathered my things and left the class room. I was walking in the almost empty hallway when I see Joe slip into a classroom.

I glance around quickly then decide to follow him.

I look through the door window to see him slip through another door.

I go in the room and jog to the other door and quietly open it. I look around and see no ones in the room. I walk in and set my books on a desk. I feel a little breeze and see that one of the windows is open.

I walk over and stick my head out. I still dont see anything. I climb out onto the second floor roof of my school and look around. I walk over to the wall and climb up onto the third roof of my school. I stand up and look around once
again. I spot Joe sitting on the side of the roof with his feet hanging off.

I walk over to him and take a seat next to him.

"Beautiful isnt it?" He asks in his British accent.

I smile and look out to see the sun starting to set.

"Yeah. It is beautiful."

"Why did you follow me?" He asks as he turns his head to look at me. I mimick his actions and shrug.

"I dont really know to be honest. I guess Im curious about you. We have all the same classes together and you havent shown up to any one of them."

He laughs as he looks in my eyes. "There are reasons to that. Maybe ill tell you them in the future or maybe I wont. Depends on if you stay long enough to figure them out."

"What do you mean?" I ask getting confused.

"You'll find out soon hopefully." He says while looking back at the sunset.

I smile and look back at the sunset. I dont know how long its been but I start to feel my back pocket vibrate.

I pull out my phone to see Matt calling me.

Hello?

Hey just wanted to remind you that ill be at your house in like 20 minutes.

Shit. Yeah thats fine ill see you then.

Okay babe, see ya.

I hang up my phone then stood up.
"I gotta go Joe it was lovely siting here and talking with you. I hope we can do it again. Ill see you tomorrow bye." I give him a quick hug then ran to the part of the roof that meets the second floor roof. I hop down then climb back through the window. I pick up my books and jog out of the classroom and out of the school to my new car (Its an all black charger) I get in my car then drive back to my house.

I now only have about 12 minutes to get ready. I strip off my clothes and pull on this short flowy bright red dress. I wear a black leather jacket over the shoulders with a pair of black pumps. I wear my laugh necklace (like always) and a few sliver Alex and ani braclets with dimond earrings. I curl my hair into loose curls and wear my hair down.

I grab my phone as soon as the doorbell rings. I walk down the stairs to see my stepdad talking to Matt. Matt notices me and he smiles brightly at me. I blush and look down.

"You look beautiful Tori." I hear Matt say as he hands me a single white rose. I smile at him and smell the flower.

"Thank you, you look beautiful as well Matthew." I say while laughing.

"Okay well you two be careful alright? and be home no later than 11 because its a school night."

I walk up to my stepdad and give him a hug "We will be careful, I promise. I love you bye." I let go and Matt and I walk towards his car.

"I love you too." I hear my stepdad say behind us. I turn around and smile at him and wave as I get in Matt's car.

Off to the secret destination.
