Chapter 66

Kyla's POV:

***2 weeks later***

It's graduation day. I smile as I stare at my reflection in the mirror. I'm wearing a plain white flowy dress that stops around mid thigh.

I curled my hair and it's just chillen against my back. I pick my white heels off of the ground and slip them on my feet.

I then put all my jewelry on. I grab my Laugh necklace that Chassidy gave me from the small box I keep it in and I clip it around my neck.

I don't wear it much anymore because it reminds me of her, and it makes me sad to think I won't be with her anymore.

I shake my head lightly and apply a little bit of make up to my face. I then grab my phone and the dressing bag that has my white graduation gown in it.

I then shut my lights off and head downstairs. My siblings and parents are waiting at the end of the stairs for me and I smile at them as I walk down them.

"You ready kiddo?" My mom asks while giving me a hug. She got to come home from rehab to go to my graduation.

Honestly she has improved so much since she went there. I'm very proud of her.

"I'm so ready for this." I joke as I laugh lightly along with my family.

"Alright let's go then." Chase says as we all leave the house. We realize that we don't have enough room in the car.

"I'll just drive there." I say heading over to my car, pulling the keys out of my little purse thing.

"You sure? I can drive." My brother says and I shake my head.

"Nah it's fine, I have to go out after anyways." I say with a smile. Lexi walks over to my car and gets in the passenger seat. I smile at my family before getting in my car.

"Let's do this." I say before pulling out of the driveway.

"Kyla (forgot what her last name was😁)" the principal calls my name and I stand up from my seat with a smile as everyone cheers around me.

I shake the principals hand (Mr. Smith) and take my diploma before posing for a picture with him.

"Good luck on your journey." He says with a smile and I thank him before walking off the stage. I go back to my seat and sit down with a huge smile on my face.

I just graduated highschool. I soon hear Matts name being called and I clap for him. We haven't been the same ever since he cheated.

We don't talk or hang out as much as we used to and I feel we've just drifted apart. We're still together though, I should talk to him about this.

Matt grabs his diploma and turns towards the audience and bows while everybody cheers.

"Yeah that's my baby!!" I hear a squeaky voice yell and I turn to the sound of the voice. I see Erin with a huge ass smile on her face and I raise an eyebrow.

Well this is new. I think to myself as I look back to Matt to see he has an awkward smile on his face.

He then walks off the stage and doesn't make eye contact with me. Somethings up.

********After Graduation********

Everyone is now headed to a graduation party and I get in my car as I wait for the guys. I decided to not bring up the Erin subject just yet.

Matt decided to drive his own car and suggested I drive there as well. He said he promised to pick up Erin and he thinks it would be a bad idea if we were in the same car together.
