Chapter 61

Tori's POV:

During class that girl kept trying to talk to Matt. The funny thing was Matt kept moving his desk slightly over so she wouldn't be near him.

Nolan and I couldn't stop laughing.

"Matt why are you moving away?" She asks, which makes me laugh even more.

"What? I'm not doing anything." Matt replies slyly as he ends up getting a good distance away from her.

I shake my head slightly at his stupidness.

"Matthew, do you have a problem with sitting next to Miss. Rix?" The teacher asks. The whole class turns their attention towards Matt and he shifts uncomfortably in his seat.

"No theres no problem." The girl says with a wide smile.

"Matt?" The teacher asks again. Matt straightens his back and looks at the teacher.

"I would not like to sit next to her." Matt says with a slight smirk.

"Okay then, Matt switch seats with Tori." My eyes widen. There is no way in hell I'm sitting next to her.

Matt gets up quickly and goes to my side. I glare up at him as I grab my books and get up slowly.

I go to Matt's seat and push it back to where it should be and sit down with a scowl on my face.

I hear Nolan laughing lightly and I cross my arms. I look to the left out of the corner of my eye to see the girl glaring at me. I turn to her and put a smile on my face.

"Whats with your face?" I ask sweetly and her glare hardens. I shake my head lightly and turn back to the front of the class.

We start taking notes so I pull out a few pens and my notebook. I'm in the middle of writing the title when I feel Matt start poking my back. I try to ignore it but he starts to jab his finger into my back.

I turn to him frustrated, "What?" I say lowly. He just shrugs his shoulders and writes whats on the board.

I sigh lightly and turn back to my paper. Written in small letters across my paper are the words "He's Mine" I laugh lightly and turn to the girl.

"You're so funny." I say while ripping out that paper and starting all of my notes over again.

Class is finally over and its the end of the day. Matt got a detention so I'm driving his car home and coming to pick him back up later.

I head to my locker and put away the books I don't need and grab the ones I do need. I go to close my locker when a manicured hand grabs it.

The halls are empty now so I only assume its the girl from class. I still don't know her name. I sigh lightly before leaning against the locker next to mine.

"And what can I help you with?" I ask as she looks up at me with a glare.

"You can hop off my man." She says and I bite my lip to keep me from laughing "hop off" oh my.

I laugh lightly before looking her in the eyes. "Listen, whatever your name is," "Erin" she says interrupting me. "Okay, Erin listen Matt and I are together. Which means i'm his girlfriend and he is my boyfriend. He in no way is 'your man' and I will not 'hop off' get that through your thick skull." I say before slamming my locker closed and walking away.

I hear her scoff from behind me but I ignore it. "He wont be yours for long." She says and I just shake my head slightly. I walk out of the front door and go to Matt's car. I get in and start driving away towards my house.

When I get home I park the car in Matt's driveway and walk up to my house. I have to get Matt at 3:30 and it is currently 2:30 so I have some time to kill. I go to the fridge and make myself a sandwich. I pour a glass of apple juice and head into the living room.

I sit down on the couch and put One Tree Hill on. I finish off my sandwich and decide a quick nap couldn't hurt.

I wake up to my phone ringing. Before I can grab it it stops ringing. I quickly grab my phone and look at the time. 3:57 my eyes widen and shoot up from the couch. I stick my phone in my back pocket and grab Matts keys before heading outside to his car.

"Oh shit oh shit oh shit" I mutter to myself. I drive to the school and pull into the parking lot. Its 4:08. I get out of the car and look around for Matt when I see him walking in the opposite direction of me.

I'm about to yell his name out when he gets into another car. I frown and try to figure out who's car he's in. My eyes turn to slits as I see Erin in the drivers seat with a huge grin on her face.

I pull out my phone and realize I have 7 missed calls and 12 texts from Matt asking where I was.

I click on his contact and call him as I get back into the car. He picks up.

"Where the hell are you?" He asks from the other end of the phone.

"Sorry I fell asleep, I'm here now though."

"I got a ride with someone else."

"Who?" I ask already knowing the answer.

"Uh Jack" he says quickly and I frown.

"Okay, ill see you when you get home then?" I ask dismissing the fact that he lied to me.

"Yea I'm on our street now, ill wait outside for you."

I roll my eyes he doesn't have to wait outside for me.

"Okay ill see you soon." I say before hanging up. I didn't wait for his reply. I pull out of the schools parking lot and head home. When I get home I don't see Matt outside. I shrug and park the car in his driveway.

I walk up to my house and am about to open the door when I hear a car pull in my driveway. I turn around expecting to see a smirking Erin and a Matt. But that's not what I see at all.

I turn around fully and cross my arms as the white van sits in my driveway. My eyebrows furrow in confusion but soon shoot up in shock when I see the person get out of the back seat.

"Mom?"
