Chapter 63:

I grip my phone tightly as I stand there in silence. The boys looking at me with concern. I finally decide to reply and my fingers move fast along the keyboard of my phone.

Me: I'll be over in 10

I lock my phone and stick it in my back pocket as I grab the keys to my car.

"I have to go talk to Chassidy, it's important, you guys can stay here and hang out until I get back if you want." I say as I walk towards my door. I hear an okay and nod my head at them before leaving my room.

I walk down the stairs while trying to focus my brain on something else besides Chassidy.

I make it to the bottom of the stairs and quickly tell Chase where I'm going and I'll be back soon. I head outside and to my car.

Before I get in I look towards Matts house. The door opens and Matt and Erin walk out. She sees me and smirks as she gives Matt a hug. I try my hardest not to go punch her in the face.

When Matt finally sees me his eyes widen. I just give him a fake smile and wave before getting in my car and driving away.

I can't worry about that now all that's on my mind is Chassidy.

About 7 minutes later I arrive at Chassidys house. I notice Nolan's car is here as well and I run up to her door before knocking.

She opens the door and I wrap my arms around her as tears start to form in my eyes.

Nolan comes up beside us and joins into the hug so we are all hugging eachother. I sigh, I've missed group hugs like this. I've missed them.

It's suddenly coming back to me that I haven't hung out with them in forever, ever since I started dating Matt I practically blocked them out of my life. I feel like a horrible friend.

We pull away, and Chassidy shuts the door before leading us to her room.

When we get there I take a seat on the floor opposite her bed with my back against the wall. Nolan sits in her desk chair and she sits on her bed.

I pull my legs up to my chest as I wait for her to say something. "Well like in the text I sent you, I'm moving to New York, next month. So I'll be here for graduation, considering its in like 6 weeks. I'll be moving a few days after graduation. My mom thinks that we should move because of everything that's happened here, and I agree with her, even though I'm an adult now and I'll be going off to college I think it's a good idea to leave."

She plays with her fingers in her lap as she avoids eye contact with Nolan and I.

"I'll miss you guys so so much but I think this is what's best for me." She says with a shrug and finally looks up at me.

"I think you should do what's best for you." I say as a tear runs down my face. I smile slightly at her as I nod my head.

I look over towards Nolan to see his head in his hands. He looks up at us and nods his head, "I agree, we will miss you so much though."

Chassidy wipes the tears from under her eyes as she smiles at us. "Thank you guys for being so understanding." She says before we all get up to hug eachother again.

After awhile we pull away. "So how about we play some board games like we used to?" I suggest not wanting to leave just yet. I know I still have a month and a half with her but she's my best friend and I don't want her to leave.
