Unaware he had started to drift into a bleak sleep, Karl woke to his comms buzzing violently in his hand. Sitting up tiredly, he rubbed his eyes to better see the screen:

Sapnap whispers to you: DRAEM ON HIS WAY TO KINOKO
Sapnap whispers to you: EITER HIDE OR GET OUT OFTHERE
Sapnap whispers to you: TELL ME WHIHC AND ILL MEET YOU WHEREVR
Sapnap whispers to you: THIS IS IMPORTNT HE MIGT COME TO KILL YOU
Sapnap whispers to you: IM RUNNING AS FAST AS I CAN

Even after an intense surge of anxiety coursed through his veins, sleep still urged Karl to fall back into its arms. His stomach hurt. What was he meant to do...?
Back up! He needed back up! He knew enough about Dream to know he was too much, even for Sapnap. He knew taking him down would require more people and even better equipment, both which Kinoko lacked.
Quickly, Karl sent a message to the select three individuals he believed he needed the most: Bad, Ant, and of course, the warden himself: Sam.
<Karl_Jacobs> Hi please this is an emergency! I KNOW WHERE DREAM IS HES COMING TO KINOKO I need help I know Sapnaps on his way but Dreams too strong I know you three know that so please HURRY
<BadBoyHalo> OH MY GOSH YOU STAY SAFE AND HIDDEN KARL OMW
The message was out there, and unknown to Karl - who now made his way inside his library - had set the next wave of events in motion.

Sam's POV:
You whisper to Dream: just got word karl knows. he wants me and bad and ant to save him. just wait a bit longer and let the tension do it's thing. wait until sapnap turns up first then make your move. i'm sure karl will alert us. if you have other plans then by all means go for it
Dream whispers to you: no. i like that idea. thank you. now go play the hero. jump ship when i call for you. pretend to hurt me for the act BUT DO NOT HARM ME OR I WILL KILL YOU
You whisper to Dream: of course dream.
Dream whispers to you: don't. stuff. up. i need this. step one of recovery and rehabilitation is tying up loose ends, correct? well i can't wait to tie mine up in a row of body bags, and take control over the strings of their souls. quackity and now ant are mine. time for some more
