"Hi!"

Jaeun looked at Seungmin, perplexed.

"What- how did you even find my house? What the heck?" Jaeun was about to close the door when Chan popped up.

"Jaeun, is Felix here? Oh and He is with me." Chan pointed at Seungmin.

"Chris?" Jaeun looked at her boss and then at Seungmin. "He is here but he-"

"Please. It's really important." Chan insisted. He was glad that Felix had not yet told everything to Jaeun about them being the prince's.

"Eun-ah, who's there?" Felix walked up to the door and froze when he saw them. "What do you want?"

Jaeun looked at Felix in confusion. He didn't had to be so rude to him, what if Chris fires Jaeun?

"You trying to fire me?" Jaeun whispered to Felix.

Felix didn't answer and instead walked out .
"Let's talk outside."

Chan nodded.
"Seungmo, stay here."

Jaeun couldn't help but chuckle at the name.
"Uh..Park Seungmo? You can come in."

Seungmin groaned internally when he saw Jaeun trying to hold in her laugh at the mention of his name.

"Thanks."

"Do you know what's going on with them? I mean I hope it's nothing serious, Felix is already sad about something related to his job." Jaeun enquired once Seungmin came in and sat on the couch.

"I think...umm it's about I.N." Seungmin lied. "Is Felix doing okay?"

"No, he had been skipping meals too." Jaeun groaned. "God, I hate the prince's so much."

"Why?"

" They kill anyone they don't like. If I had that power I would have killed them first." Jaeun looked away, fixing her gaze at her family picture. "They killed my family."

Seungmin stayed silent for a while before he mustered up the courage to ask anything else.

"So..what happened to your.. parents?"

Jaeun looked at him, to Seungmin it almost felt like her gaze was accusing him and it made him feel uncomfortable.

"I hate the prince of Cyrene the most."

Seungmin's hands went cold.
"Why?"

"They killed my family infront of me, saying it was for the prince." Jaeun mumbled. "Mom, dad and my sister..all of them."

All seungmin felt was guilt and the extreme push of justifying himself. To tell her that he didn't knew what was happening, he didn't knew people were killed using his name.

He didn't knew he was being used too.

"I am sure the prince didn't knew. He wouldn't-"

"I don't care!" Jaeun raised her voice . " If I have the chance of meeting the prince, Seungmin..I will kill him."

"Seungmo?" Seungmin looked up at Chan's voice.

"Yeah Hyung?"

Chan noticed something was wrong immediately.
"Let's leave now."

.

"Do you think everything will work out just fine?" Minho asked Jisung.

Before leaving for Felix, Chan had instructed them to come with some sort of plan.

"I hope so.." Jisung asked. " That's the best I could think of. If we are really trying to dethrone both the kingdoms then we need help from outside. The eight of us can't win against the sea of soldiers."

"You have got enough intelligence in your small stature." Minho joked.

"I am not even the shortest!" Jisung protested. " There's literally a Changbin, tease him."

Minho scoffed at his words.
"Speaking of Changbin, where is he?"

"He is comforting Hyunjin. Jeongin snapped at him yesterday and Hyunjin have not stopped crying since then. " Jisung deadpanned.

"I thought they hated eachother? Why is he crying?" Minho was confused.

"Hyunjin isn't really capable of hating anyone. He is just.. immature." Jisung said. "He is actually really nice, he would even give up his life to save the people he love."

"Woah." Minho nodded in awe.

.

"What happened there?" Chan asked on their way back.

"She hates me, Hyung." Seungmin's voice cracked. " There are murders on my name...I have blood in my hand."

"No, it is not your fault, seungmin." Chan patted his back. "You didn't knew anything."

"That won't bring her parents back." Seungmin wiped his tears. " I feel so terrible, Hyung. I feel sad and I feel so guilty that I don't even know what I should do.

Knowing that her parents died because they saw my face makes me want to cut my face and beg for forgiveness. "

Chan hugged the younger.
"Seungmin, the best we can do is give the deceased justice. That is most we can do so, let's work on that. Should we?"

Seungmin nodded timidly.

That night Seungmin didn't go to Chan's room where everyone was planning everything, neither did he make fun of Hyunjin nor did he end of writing in his journal.

All he could think about was the hatred he had seen for himself in Jaeun's eyes.

A part of him wanted to run to her and tell her everything, he will probably end up dead and the other part of him wanted to experience how it would be to fall in love.

To have those eyes burning with hatred glow up in love , if possible. Doesn't matter if he had to die in the end. That was a price he was ready to pay.

You can close your eyes to the things you don't want to see but you can't close your heart to feelings and fears you don't want to experience.

He laid in his bed, thinking about when and how did he end up liking Jaeun and he would realise, she hadn't left his mind ever since he had seen her for the first time in the museum.

He knew he was wrong for keeping Jaeun in the dark but he knew if anyone could make sure his willpower to go against his family never falters, it would be Jaeun.

The moment he saw her, he knew she was it .

Seungmin had read lots of books growing up and for the first time in his life, he knew this was supposed to be his story. The fairytale he had been waiting for but unfortunately for him and Jaeun..it would never work out.

They both could fall in and out of love but they were stars that were meant to cross paths but never meant to align.
