"Hyung!" Jeongin hugged Chan as soon as he entered the room. " Are you okay? Are we going home tomorrow?"
"I am okay, innie." Chan patted Jeongin's head lovingly. "Yes, we are going home tomorrow."
"Channie hyung!" Hyunjin came up to him.
"What happened?" Chan asked.
"Jeongin and I are now okay with each other and also I am really sorry for all my shitty behaviors in the past."
"We are actually freaking besties!" Jeongin chuckled.
Chan laughed at both of them . It made him really, really happy that these two were getting along with each other like they used to be when they were toddlers. It also took away a lot of weight from his shoulders.
"Hyunnie and innie , shouldn't you both go to sleep?" Jaeun scolded them jokingly. "We have to wake up early to catch the flight."
Hyunjin pouted and made a face but agreed to go to his room when Jeongin said that they will sleep in the same room.
"Woah!" Seungmin said in amazement. "Can't believe these two are getting along."
"What do you mean?" Jaeun asked .
"They were always getting on each other's nerves!" Seungmin laughed remembering the past.
"Hyunjin even made Jeongin cry during last year's celebration!" Chan laughed along. " It was a mess."
"The fuck?!" Jaeun looked at them wide eyed. "They are wild. I remember cursing at your performances because I couldn't get through the traffic."
"What? What were doing in Cyrene?!" Seungmin asked , surprised that she had been at his kingdom before.
"Mycenae ran out of green chilli sauce so--"
The three of them burst out laughing at the incidence.
"Ah I like this!" Jaeun suddenly exclaimed.
"What?" Chan and Seungmin looked at her in question.
"Just having like a family..." Jaeun smiled. Chan and Seungmin following her .
"Seungmin, Our dad's will go through trial soon. You are okay with it , right?" Chan asked cautiously.
"Of course!" Seungmin nodded . " I will trust you with all the decisions, Channie hyung."
Chan took a deep breath and smiled at him. He was so grateful for his support system. The three of them talked about their lives, their interests and other mundane things for long, not noticing the hours that passed by.
"Guys it's 4 am...." Jaeun looked at them in shock. "We have to leave in two hours."
"Fuck sleeping then." Chan mumbled.
"Not like you ever did." Seungmin scoffed.
"Shut up oh my god!" Chan looked at him dead in the eye, clearly triggered.
"I am just gonna go to my room and freshen up for the journey." Jaeun informed them as she was about to leave the room.
"Wait I am gonna walk you to your room." Seungmin said immediately , getting up from the bed .
"There is no need. I-"
"I am coming either way." Seungmin stated looking straight at Jaeun so she couldn't deny.
Chan looked at both of them weirdly , smelling something fishy going on, He questioned them if there was something they want to tell him.
Jaeun and Seungmin looked at each other and then at Chan before speaking up.
"So like ...hyung, I confessed."
"What?"
Jaeun shaked her head confirming making Chan gasp and jump out of his bed.
"WHAT THE FUCK?! WHEN?? WHAT?? HOW??"
"I will tell you later. " Seungmin giggled as he intertwined his hands with Jaeun's and ran out of the room with her.
"Why are we running?"
"I want to spend some time with you alone."
"Oh..." Jaeun's face flushed of red and pink.
The both of them ended up in the balcony of her room, looking at the beautiful sunrise , the cool breeze hitting them both and somehow they both ended up being on each other's arms.
"Do you think we had ever met if I never left Cyrene?"
"I guess?" Jaeun wasn't so sure about the answer herself. "Maybe we would have crossed paths on one of my trips for sauces?"
Seungmin burst out laughing,
"Glad that I didn't met you when you were fighting for your life because of a sauce."
"Shut up Seungmin.." Jaeun mumbled getting embarrassed. "You should go to your room and get ready."
"I'd love a kiss before I go."
"A what--?" Jaeun couldn't believe her ears.
"Can I kiss you once, Jaeun?"
Jaeun's heart was pounding like crazy but what she was unaware about was it was the same with Seungmin.
"Yes." Jaeun said with all her courage as Seungmin slowly leaned in and pulled Jaeun closer, connecting their lips at once.
I love you Seungmin, I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out. Jaeun said smiling , once they pulled away.
"Wait-" Seungmin gasped. "Are you telling me that you love me too?!"
Jaeun nodded giggling as Seungmin went through five stages of happiness before pulling Jaeun in a hug and kissing her forehead.
"You know, you are the reason I had the courage to stand up against my family, for standing with the truth. Thank you Jaeun and I love you more."
"No Seungmin, I love you more."
"No I do, dumbass." Seungmin scoffed.
"No I-"
"Listen, when I say I love you more, I dont mean I love you more than you love me. I mean I love you more than the bad days ahead of us, I love you more than any fight we will ever have. I love you more than the distance between us, I love you more than any obstacle that could try and come between us. I love you the most. Okay?"
"Can you not make me cry? what the fuck!"
"You are already crying though, love." Seungmin chuckled as he wiped away her tears and caressed her hair.
To be fully seen by somebody, then, and be loved anyhow - this is a human offering that can border on miraculous. Together they had achieved this miracle.
