"Bokkie, now that you are here.."

Jaeun had calmed down by now.

" How are you here and where is Jisung? I heard he wasn't killed by the people who killed Minho and Changbin."

Felix hesitated a bit before speaking.
"I had to...kill him."

"You- what-" Jaeun was at a loss of words.

"I had to take revenge for what happened to us and-"

"No- No Felix you did not- oh my god!"

"Isn't this what you wanted? To take revenge?"

"But what did Jisung even do!? He was wasn't even one of the prince's!" Jaeun yelled.

"That's why," Felix kept his hands on her shoulders. "That's why I am here to kill them."

Jaeun's eyes widened.

"No you won't."

"Why should I not Jaeun!? They made both of our lives so miserable! They are the reason we ended up like this!" Felix argued back.

"If you kill them then what's the difference between you and those who killed our families, bokkie!?" Jaeun said, growing increasingly frustrated.

"I don't care."

That's when Jaeun noticed that the boy she had adorned so much seemed to have something crazy about him.

She couldn't find the loving person that Felix was. She didn't knew the person he had became now.

"Felix, what happened to you?"

Jaeun's eyes welled up, she couldn't find her bestfriend anymore.

"Nothing?" Felix said nonchalantly. "But what's wrong with you!? Why are you defending these people who lived by trampling on our and so many others lives. "

"BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T DO IT ! THEY DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT FOR FUCKS SAKE!" Jaeun yelled. "AND I CONSIDER THEM MY FAMILY!"

"Are you kidding me?" Felix asked taking out two of his guns . "Are you fucking kidding me!?"

"I am not! I- I love Seungmin and Chan, Hyunjin and Jeongin too! They always take care of me ..I feel loved when I am with them and they love you so much as well!"

Jaeun continued unfazed by the weapon in Felix's hand.

"You have no idea how devastated everyone was when they heard about your death! Specially Innie, don't you consider his your bestie? He was crying his eyes out for your dea-"

Jaeun stopped for a split second.

"-why did you lie to me about your situation, bokkie? Why did you do that to me!? Why?"

"I was afraid they would find out my plan if they knew about everything.. about me killing Jisung." Felix shrugged.

Jaeun couldn't believe how nonchalant Felix was about everything. It seemed like he had gone crazy in the fire of revenge.

"Jisung learned about my plans accidentally and I couldn't let him blow my cover so-" Felix threw a gun at Jaeun. "Anyways, Jaeun this is the last time I am asking you this."

Jaeun was shaking in fear and at the same time she was extremely disgusted about his actions.

"You have three options."

Felix said, positioning his gun at the trial going on , the yard was a far and high enough point to cleanly put out an execution.

Jaeun saw his first target was Jeongin; the boy he seemingly loved so much at one point.

"One ; just watch and let me do everything. Two; Join me and three; kill me because no way I am stopping. "

"Felix please stop." Jaeun cried, he was driving her to the edge.

"You only have five seconds before I pull the trigger, Eun."

Felix was confident that Jaeun would choose him and so the pressure he created, he assumed it was for the best.

The day he had learned the truth about everything was the day he had lost his mind, he was just a good actor.

Felix's hands were on the trigger , ready to shoot when he felt a stinging pain in his chest.

Jaeun was standing with the gun clutched in her hands, tears rolling down her cheeks.

She had shot Felix.

It took her a few seconds but she saw the look on Felix's eyes. She wouldn't be able to stop him any other way.

"Wow." Felix breathed heavily, his hand clutching his chest was overflowing with his own blood. " You chose them over me? Eun-ah do you like breaking promises?"

Jaeun shaked her head as Felix fell on his knees.

"I chose what was right and don't worry, i-" Jaeun took a deep breath. "I don't break promises. We promised to always be together bokkie..see you in a little while."

Tears fell down both of their cheeks as Jaeun watched Felix die in the seconds following.

She barely managed to stumble to Seungmin's room and grabbed a pen and paper.

Looking out of the window, she saw Seungmin answering to the press and only one thought crossed her mind.

I love you and I am proud of you.

Without wasting another second Jaeun wrote down a short letter before going back to the hall Felix was in.

She slumped down on the wall facing Felix and tried remembering every happy moment she had lived through with Felix, with Seungmin, with her family and with the princes.

Then shakily brought the gun down her chin.

The burden of killing someone was heavy enough but killing the one person she had prayed and prayed to live was too much for Jaeun.

And so she pulled the trigger.

Hi Seungmin.

I am sorry that you have to go through this too but you see, I am quite a coward.

I can't live knowing I killed Felix.

I hope you don't think loving me was a mistake..I really didn't had any other option. Felix killed Jisung for revenge and was about to do the same to you all.

I told you I don't know how to love but please know that I tried and I tried to live !

It's just that the burden is too much.

I am sorry to Hyun..he told me I was his bestie..sorry he had to go through another loss but tell him I love him so much!

I am sorry to Jeongin too and I love him so , so much for being strong for others.

I am sorry to Chan..I loved how he had made me feel home. Thank you .

And I am sorry to you.

Sorry I couldn't go to college with you, sorry that I can't be with you anymore.

But I love you Kim Seungmin.

And I am proud of you.
