Suvi's POV:

'Dad! What happened?', I screamed running to him.
The axe was lying on the ground and my dad held his shoulder.
'I think I hurt my shoulder. Shit!', he said in pain.
I helped him inside.
My mother was out for shopping, so I took my phone and jacket and drove to the hospital.

Nervously I waited for him. I quickly texted my mother, she shouldn't be worried. After a long time, my dad came back to me, his arm hanging in a sling.
'What did they say? What's with your arm?', I asked being worried.
'I had a dislocated shoulder.', he said still in pain, but better than before.
'I have to rest my arm for a few weeks before I have to get physiotherapy.'
Oh no, that ment he couldn't come on the rest of the tour!

'Dad! That means...', I said shocked.
'Yes, you have to drive alone, dear. But you can do this! The guys will need you even more now.', he said with a tired smile.
'But..', I began again. 'No, Suvi. You can do this! You didn't need me the past days at your work, so you won't for the rest of the tour.', my dad winked. I nodded and walked to the car with him. We bought some painkillers for him before we headed back home. It was already late in the evening.

My mum sure was worried when she saw my dad. She helped him getting out of the winter clothes and cared for him. I got back to my room and realized I hadn't answered Joonas yet.
So I took my phone and began typing:

Hei Joonas!
Sorry I didn't write back yet. My dad had an accident and I was at the hospital with him. He's a dislocated shoulder, so he won't be able to help for the rest of the tour. Originally I wanted to come on the 9th, but I thought about coming earlier. You know a good motel?
Xo, Suvi

A minute after I had send the message my phone rang. It was a call from Joonas.

'Heippa!', I greeted him.
'Moi. Can you talk?', he asked. 'Sure', I replied shortly.
'What happened? It seemes your start at home wasn't so well?'
'No, my dad hurt himself while chopping wood. And my mother isn't very enthusiastic when I told her about my plan of working on your European tour.', I sighed loudly.
'I'm sorry to hear that.', he said. He clearly felt for me and was worried.
'Say your dad our best wishes!'
'Thank you. I will, later. How was your day?', I asked to change the sad topic.

'Good, I'm happy seeing my family again. But to talk about your previous question about the motel. I know some, but...what do you think about...only if you want...my patents will visit parts of the family from the 8th on, so I'll be alone at home. I know, it's not what you normally would do at this point, but you can sleep at my parents house with your own room and your own bathroom. No intentions!', he said.

'Oh, mhh, thanks for the invitation. I, I don't know Joonas. I mean, I don't want to rush this and I don't want to be a burden. I, I think it's better if I sleep in a motel.', I replied to him.
It was sweet of him, but it was really to much for me. It was quiet on the other side 'What do you think if I come to Oulu tomorrow evening? We can meet on the 8th?'

'Cool, yes, that sounds great. I'll send you some adress for the motels and I will plan our date day then. Ok?', now he sounded a bit happier.
'Yes, that sounds great. Thank you for your patience with me. I'm...I'm not used to this.', I mumbled into the phone.
'Suvi, I'm sorry I rushed this. Sometimes I'm a bit exuberant. We all have our rough edges. I have to go now. Ami, our dog, has to go for a walk. Have a good night.', he softly said. His voice was so warm and comforting me, I got lost in my thoughts for a second.
'Mhh...yeah. Have a lovely night yourself. I'm happy to see you soon.', I returned a bit ineptly.
We ended the call and I sat there on my bed staring blankly at a wall grinning like an idiot.

Joonas held his word. Right after our call he send me some adresses. I ended up renting a little appartment, as it was the best option.

I walked down the stairs to the living room. My parents were sitting on the couch, wood was burning in our fireplace. 'Hei, how are you dad?', I asked and took a seat next to him.
'It's ok. It could have been worse, and I was lucky you were around and helped me so fast.', my dad said and pulled me in for a hug with his healthy arm.
