5. Play for you

I started to play a song. Joels and my back were resting against each other. I began to sing along to the song I was playing.

I felt how the tension Joel had in his whole body got less. He relaxed in this moment we shared. And for me it was easy too. I liked being one on one with someone and was less shy in this situations.

As soon as I played the last chords I heard load voices from afar. 'There you are! We missed you and searched for you.', Joonas shouted but suddenly lowered his voice. 'Oh, I think you were in good company.' The others laughed as they saw Joel and me chilling together in my van and playing music.

'Sorry', I mumbled.
'Ooooh guys, you could fuck up the best moments!', Joel replied to them. 'She helped me not freezing. And she started to play some music. Damn, this woman has such a good voice!'
I blushed. 'Naah, Joel, stop overstating  this.'

'Don't keep everything to yourself, Joel. We wanted to hear something of her too!', Joonas argued with his bandmate.

Now all the other boys started to crawl up in my van. What are they doing? I haven't invited them in.

'Whoa guys! My poor old van! Don't you think you all are a bit to much?', I asked truely concerned about my vehicle since there were now 7 people sitting on my bed.

'It will do fine, don't worry!',Tommi simply said. 'Now...sing something for us!', Joonas was whining.

It felt like Inhaf a lump in my throat now as soon as all eyes were on me.
'I think I can't...', I whispered and looked at the guitar in my hands.
'But you could minutes before!', Joonas said.

I felt being pushed to hard by him.
I sighed and looked at Joel. 'It's fine if you don't want to or can't',he softly said and pulled me into a hug. At the same time Joonas took the guitar out of my hands.

My body tensed as Joels arms were trying to comfort me. I wasn't used to be in the arms of a man.
Joonas started to play and sing Justin Biebers song stay(you can look it up on Joonas tiktok!). I was never the girl who listened to this type of music, but I enjoyed him jamming this song.
So we chilled there for half an hour until the boys really had to go back inside to get ready for the show.
I crawled back under my car and stopped the heating and closed my car. It looked like a mess now.

Everybody was already on their way to the building, only Joonas waited for me. 'Sorry, I didn't want to push you. I should have known better.', he said and looked at me.
I didn't know what to say and simply nodded. This man did something to me, but I didn't know what.

'What are your plans after the concert tomorrow?', Joonas asked to change the topic. 'Mhh...I live in Vaasa, so I'll drive home, I think. My dad and I will go to Oulu on the 9th, I think, so the drive to Tornio won't be too long on the 10th. And you?', I explained.

'We'll visiting our families and friends in Oulu. It makes no sense heading back home to Helsinki.
If you're arriving earlier in Oulu, you may wanna join us?', Joonas smiled at me. I looked to the ground and blushed. Why is he inviting me? He doesn't need to be nice to me.

'I don't know, Joonas. I'm not that social...', I said honestly.
'You will know everybody there, only us and maybe some people of the crew! And maybe I can comfort you before and we can do a 1 on 1 and play some guitar.', Joonas explained.

'Do I even have a chance to say no?', I asked him helplessly. 'Actually...no', he  laughed and I sighed. This man was my personal nightmare.
'Ok, then...I guess', I mumbled.
He gave me his phone. 'Give me your number then. I'll text you the adress and so on.'

I typed in my number and handed him his phone back.
'I better go back to Roope now. He sure is waiting for me. Have fun', I said and waved goodbye.
