"Hey, Jaemin!" The said blond haired boy practically jumps on his seat, taking out his earphones and looking up to see Amy with her cute and beaming smile.

"Oh hi, Amy. What's up?" He kindly smiles back.

If Jaemin had to choose someone from Jeno's friend group on who he will most likely be easily comfortable with, it would be Amy, no doubt.

Hakim and Patrine are obviously a little hostile at times to which they're easily misunderstood with. Jaemin knows that now.

Hence both parties are trying their best to get to know each other, without their ''masks". Slightly difficult due to them mostly hanging out at school but it's fine.

Amy however, is like the light of the room, in a friendly way. And of course, in Jaemin's personal opinion, she would be the second person to have an effect on him.

I think we all know who's number one.

Her bubbly and friendly personality mixed with some chaotic energy somehow eases Jaemin's mind, not failing to make him laugh and smile.

"We're going to a party tonight, we were wondering if you wanted to come with." Amy said and drinks her energy drink afterwards.

"Is Jeno coming?" Jaemin fights the urge to roll his eyes when just by simply mentioning the brunet boy's name, he got some unwanted attention.

Gossipers, welp- we'll see what they'll have to talk about tomorrow morning.

Amy shrugs her shoulders, "honestly don't know, Patrine told me to go ask him because she has volleyball practice."

"I'll go ask him then," Jaemin said.

"Really?" Nodding at her in response, Amy finishes her beverage and grins widely. "Great! Let us know then of both of your decisions."

Amy takes her leave with a skip on her steps, resulting Jaemin to chuckle at her in amusement.

"Are you going to the party?" Jeno perks up at the sudden change of topic, looking away from the price tag of the shirt that caught his eye.

"Who's party?"

"I don't know, Amy didn't say anything else but asked if I was going to be there. And you too, apparently." Jaemin shrugs his shoulders.

Jeno hums and turns to continue looking at the rack of shirts, "if that's the case, Patrine's probably fighting with her parents again."

"Huh? Why? What did she do?" Jaemin grew curious and mindlessly bombarded Jeno with questions.

The brunet boy snorts in response. "Her parents don't approve of her relationship with Hakim, long story short they think he's nothing but a sleaze."

"Which he isn't, by the way." Jeno snaps his head to look at him. "Seems like one though, but don't get deceived."

Jaemin nods in understanding, not asking much more questions other than, "about the party... You coming?"

"I don't think so." Jeno places his index finger on his chin, looking up to imitate a thinking face.

Jaemin furrows his eyebrows at that, "that's odd. Why not?" Tilting his head to the side with his blond hair following in a floppy motion.

Jeno smiles in adoration, reaching out to run his fingers through Jaemin's blond locks, the elder boy instinctively leaning in to the touch.

"I'm just... Not in the mood right now, I'll be at home though if you ever feel lonely at the party... Unless you get a hotter chick than me." Jeno exaggerates with a glare.

Jaemin snorts at him and grabs Jeno's wrist to pull his fingers out of his hair in reluctance, "trust me, no one else could be better than you, for me."

"Better be." Jeno scoffs to be dramatic, looking to the side with his eyebrows together, creasing his forehead.

The blond haired boy rolls his eyes and takes Jeno's hand in his, giving it a small squeeze to not only reassure Jeno, but to also gain his attention.

When the younger boy sets his gaze towards him, he flashes him his charming smile and then kisses Jeno's knuckles.

"What will you be doing at home then if you're not going to the party?" He asks, slowly pulling Jeno towards him by the hand.

Jeno lets himself get pulled, no sign of reluctance or even wanting to get away from Jaemin. Like a magnet. As always.

"Actually, I have some family stuff to finish." Jeno mumbles staring over Jaemin's shoulder, not meeting his eyes.

The blond haired boy purses his lips but nods nonetheless, he understands what Jeno meant and his idea of not going to the party to accompany the younger boy is sadly not going to happen.

He respects Jeno's privacy regardless, he knows he shouldn't be there if Jeno doesn't want him to be or suggests so at the end.

"I wish it will go just fine then for you," Jaemin coaxes him. "If you need some company afterwards or something... I can come over." He couldn't help but suggest himself.

He can't be there throughout Jeno's business, but he'll be there for him at the end.

The brunet boy finally meets his gaze but he looks a little puzzled, "wait, you're not going to the party?"

Jaemin shrugs his shoulders again, conflicted if he should go there without Jeno- which will be boring, or he shouldn't and just hope and wait for Jeno's phone call.

"You should go, though."

"Why? Thought you didn't want me to find hotter chicks than you." Jaemin teases with a lilt.

Jeno rolls his eyes and smacks the side of his head that has Jaemin grunting whilst squeezing his eyes shut. "I just don't want to seem like I'm holding you back to have fun."

"I could have even more fun with you though, if you kn- ouch!"

Jaemin rubs his forehead, muttering how much it hurts when Jeno flicked it with his fingers. "Think about it, for yourself, darling."

"Fine, I'll go but I'll probably won't stay long. I'm just going to test and see how boring it is to go without you." He emphasizes.

Jeno could only snicker at him before kissing his nose, smiling sweetly as he pulls him towards the changing rooms.

To ask for Jaemin's opinion of the stuff he got, obviously. Pfffttt.
