Jaemin scans over his journal for the third time tonight, and he smiles to himself at what he has written about a certain brunet boy.

It felt weird, to write about someone like this for a project; sometimes, he wonders if their Arts teacher was being serious or simply trying to do a prank on them.

But then he was told by one of their high honors, Aeri, that the journal can help those who needed to express their thoughts and feelings, improve their mental health in the process.

She isn't far off and could be precisely correct. When Jaemin asked her why they needed a partner for this, she simply answered him with a smile.

"A lot of us don't get along here, Jaemin. Hence why Ms. Kang partnered us up with people who she has heard, have not been getting along."

"I was partnered up with Nancy, at first it was a struggle because she didn't want to talk to me. But then we slowly opened up to each other and have become great friends."

"Ms. Kang is testing us, in a good way, she isn't ignoring our mental health. Sure it seems stupid from afar, but tell me why is it stupid when Nancy, who has severe anxiety, started becoming less nervous around me."

"She has shared her thoughts more often. Which isn't an easy thing to do. This project isn't just writing about someone on how you feel about them, but your experience with that person."

Nowadays, Jaemin sees her point now. And he's glad to do so, as he really didn't want to be the old ignorant person he was.

Still, this felt weird for him despite his built up relationship with Jeno. He feels like he's writing a diary about his new boyfriend and how their bond had started.

He isn't usually someone who would do these kind of things. Hell, he even hides the journal from his friends' curious eyes, blushing madly when they joke around about what it was.

No one has read his journal yet, except him of course. He has decided to wait for the day they will finally pass it.

To be fair, Jeno hasn't shown him his own journal as well. So he has no idea what his boyfriend has progressed with that thing.

Looking at the time, he purses his lips before snatching his phone from its charger, checking to see if Jeno had reached out to him or not.

The last message his boyfriend had sent him was informing him he is on his way to the party.

Also not forgetting to warn Jaemin that he may not be able to contact him as much in the meantime.

For obvious reasons, he, along with Amy, will be busy with Patrine and her mental breakdowns.

So he doesn't really want to pry at the moment, will probably ask how it went when they meet again at school.

Thus, for now, he will just look over his journal again, decorate it perhaps and add a few more pictures of him and Jeno.
