"Ash!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Lydia shouted excitedly as soon as she saw Ashlynn standing in front of her door.
"Missed me?" Ashlynn asked but her voice showed no emotions. "Yes a lot! I'm so glad that you're here! Come in!!" Lydia said excitedly.
As soon as Ashlynn entered the house, she saw Monica, Esther and Luke sitting in the living room and talking among themselves. Seeing all her friends again made Ashlynn incredibly happy but she didn't react.
"Oh my god! Please tell me it's not a dream!" Monica said dramatically as she saw Ashlynn standing beside Lydia. Esther and Luke also stared at Ashlynn with their eye wide opened.
"Trust me, Moni, It isn't. She came- for mine and Brad's wedding." Lydia spoke with a huge grin plastered on her face. Her friends had no idea that Ashlynn lost her parents exactly one year ago. It would be their death anniversary soon and that- Ashlynn wasn't prepared for it at all.
Remembering every single moments she spent with her parents made her heart ache. It also made her furious that she could do nothing to save them and she couldn't avenge them either since Thomas is nowhere to be seen after killing her parents.
Harry said that he is probably hiding since he killed Ashlynn's parents and he knew he awoken the sleeping monster. He knew that if she sees him, she won't spare him for anything. That is why he is hiding, being the coward he is.
"Do you have any idea how much we missed you?" Esther asked and pulled Ashlynn for a hug but Ashlynn's didn't hug her back.
"I know- I missed you guys too. I just had to leave for an emergency." She explained. She could not tell them about her parents and about herself, it would put them in danger and like her parents, she would lose them too- and she cannot risk that.
"Hey there! Missed me? I know you did." Luke spoke and smirked. Ashlynn just waved her hand at him, as if telling him that she knows he's here. Luke found it odd since Ashlynn would always say something or crack them up whenever she's in the room but now, she is different.
Her friends did not know that she is in the mafia. All they know is that she is the famous CEO of Lynn's Beauty. Everyone knew that the CEO is a real beauty but little did they know that she is a dangerous beauty.
"Everything's okay?" Monica asked as she hug Ashlynn after Esther. Ashlynn nodded, "So when is the wedding?"
"In a week." Lydia replied with a smile, "Ash- do you want to see the boys? I mean they missed you pretty much, especially Ace."
Thinking about seeing Ace made Ashlynn happy but she could not. She does admit that during the whole year, she kept on thinking about Ace, every single time. 'You cannot fall for him,' she said to herself.
"No." She spoke, "I mean I'll see them at the wedding directly. I'm leaving now,call me if you nee any help." She said and left instantly.
Her behavior didn't go unnoticed by her friends but they let it go,thinking that her mood is probably off about something.
