I rolled over in my soft sheets to the face of my beautiful girlfriend fiona. i admired her soft, sleepy face and her gentle snores. 

i arose from our warm nest and put on my ugg slippers to go check on my step-toddlers. the home is warm in the morning, cottage-like and safe. i cannot believe this is my life. i am so lucky to have met fiona. 

i spun around and walked up one of our staircases to the babies tower... oh didn't i mention we moved back to Far Far Away, and we live in a castle. my royalties as the green m&m model for mars inc finally came in leading me to feel confident enough to get back into modelling for them.

i climbed the winding stair way and admired the sapphire lighting fixtures. on the walls art the kids made framed in gold and silver, encrusted in jewels. our picture as fairytale Us magazines, hottest couple of the year for the third year in a row. we were living it up 😍. 

i finally reached the top of the tower and wiped my hands on my silk embossed pyjamas. I reached the guided door of the kids nursery. "rise n shineeee!" i sung as i opened the door of the spacious nursery. "mama!" fergus gurgled reaching his chubby toddler arms to me. "hiya baby!" i said picked up the warm child. 

someone comes up behind me "hi my darling~" they whisper in my ear, "oh em gee fiona 😱" i said turning to my lovely girlfriend "when did you come up here???" i asked putting fergus back in his gold plated crib (#bossbaby). 

"mhm you wren't very quiet getting up, my love." she says quietly as she goes to check on the other two groggy babies. i giggle and hug her from behind "im sowwy babe!!" i pouted looking up at her. "it's fine!" fiona says cackling cheerfully as she picks felicia up and nuzzles her baby face. 

"we should get these goofies breakfast!" i said, leaning over and bopping farkle on his cute nose. "you're quite right green!" fiona said picking up fergus and felicia in her strong arms. i picked up farkle and we left the soft nursery and went through the direct elevator to our dining room. 

i sat farkle down in his silver highchair, buttoning him in with velvet straps. "there you go sunshine." i said kissing his forehead. i turn to fiona dialling the kitchens bellow "what are we feeling today dear? she asks looking up at me "the kiddos want some banana pancakes... how about you?" she looked at me lovingly. "ooh those sound amazing fiona, thank you!" "no problem darling <3" she whispered as she completed our order. 

i look around at a room so full of love, remembering the emptiness before fiona and the kids. i felt guilt and shame for my affair with shrek again.

"green are you okay baby?" fiona asked wrapping her warm arms around me.

"i'm just... so sorry fiona." i said looking down. "don't be sorry for anything my love!" fiona said gently "you are a miracle and we are so lucky to have you in our lives." she gently stroked my head with her soft palms. "fiona how do you always know what to say!" i said smiling at her.

"bcuz im an empath 🤪." she said giggling as she went to go grab our food.  "material gorls." our cheif gru said as he entered the room with fiona. he carted a massive trolly with beautiful food. "fab thank you gru!" i said as fiona hugged him. 

"its... no problem..." he said shyly. "noooo what do we say kids.." i said looking at the babies happily, "THANK YOU GRU!" they said, gru smiled and left.  

i felt like i was going to explode, everything was so perfect. i looked around at my beautiful family. my darling girlfriend cutting up pancakes for the gurgling babies. the beautiful babies smiling and safe. everything was complete.
