Vela Luciana's POV
Draco and I arrived at the Great Hall and we went towards our friends who were chattering while eating lunch.
"Lu! I saved you some sticky toffee pudding. I know you love those" Theo said to me
"Awe, thanks Enzo!" I thanked him
We sat down at the table and started eating our lunch. A few minutes went by and Professor Snape went to our area.
"Luciana, I heard about the unfortunate incident. Are you alright? You should be resting" Snape said to me with a hint of worry in his voice
"Don't worry Professor. I am alright. Madam Pomfrey did a marvelous job at healing my back although it pains when I move a lot so I'm refraining from doing a lot of body movements" I reassured him
"Whatever you say, child. But I am here to inform you that I sent a letter to your parents regarding about the incident" Snape informed me
Draco and I stopped our movements mid-way while staring at Snape wide-eyed.
"N-no Professor! The incident is no big deal! I am fine now! They don't have to know and I'm quite sure they're busy so I don't want to disturb them" I frantically told Snape
"My apologies Luciana but I already sent the letter to your parents and—I believe you will be receiving a letter in a few minutes" He finished and left our area
I quickly looked at Draco and held his arm tightly
"Dray! We have got to do something! once mother and father finds out about the incident the Hippogriff is gone for good!" I whisper-yelled at Draco
"I'm not opposed to the idea of the bloody chicken being executed and plus why do you even care? The damn chicken hurt you Vel!" Draco said with furrowed eyebrows
"I don't care about the bloody chicken! but what I do care is that the students who are close to Potter are going to torment me even more and I told you, I don't want any drama with the students. I don't have time for those people" I replied
"If they even think of touching their filthy hands on you I am definitely going to torment them back! maybe even do something worse!" Draco said with determination
"Oh Merlin..oh well what's done is done. Snape sent the letter to mother and father. We'll just see how it goes" I said
Harry Potter's POV
"Look at Malfoy. Probably liking the attention she is receiving right now" Ron scoffed
"Stop it Ronald! Her friends just care about her. Nothing wrong with that" Hermione scolded Ron
"Oi! Why you defending that brat!" Ron narrowed his eyes at Hermione
"I am not! all I'm trying to say is that her friends care about her and it doesn't immediately mean she's seeking for attention" Hermione replied and continued to read her book
"Whatever" Ron rolled his eyes
"I heard Snape saying he sent a letter to Malfoy's parents. What do you think they'll do once they find out?" I asked them ignoring their rant
"I don't know but I think I heard Malfoy saying that they're going to execute Buckbeak...b-but it's not sure yet! they would probably just talk to Dumbledore about it" Hermione replied
"As long as Hagrid is not fired, then we're good" Ron said
