Execution Day

We were in the Divination classroom listening to Professor Trelawney rambling about things that are not even a hundred percent true.

"Broaden your minds! look into the beyond! The art of the crystal gazing is in the clearing of the inner eye. Only then you can see, try again dears" said Professor Trelawney

The girls and I rested our chins in the palm of our hand and looked at the crystal ball on the table with disinterest.

"What exactly are we looking at?" asked Daphne

"A ball of white fog apparently" Pansy scoffed

"Broaden your minds girls" I mockingly said

The girls and I quietly snickered

"Hello dears!"

We jumped and looked towards Professor Trelawney who stood beside our table.
We composed ourselves and politely smiled

"Hello Professor" we greeted in unison

"Tell me girls, what do you see?" asked Professor Trelawney looking at us eagerly

"uhm-"
"w-well"
"ah-"

"Oh dears...this is why you pay attention" said Professor Trelawney

"Broaden your minds" she whispered and left our table after

"Someone tell me why she's a professor?" asked Melody while looking at the Professor disgustingly.

"Dumbledore" Pansy, Daphne, and I replied in unison

Melody scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Girls, look over there" said Pansy while pointing at the so-called Golden Trio.

We watched Professor Trelawney holding Granger's hand and whispering something to her which I know is not good, seeing the look on Granger's face.

Granger suddenly stood up, picked up her bag, and threw the Crystal ball off the table. Everyone gasped and I smirked in amusement watching the seen unfold.

Granger walked towards the entrance door while the students whispered in confusion and astonishment.

"Have I said something" asked Professor Trelawney

"I'm sure you've said enough Professor" I said to her

"Oh...well-uh...class dismissed" she said

We packed our bags and quickly left the classroom.

"Granger, the golden student just left in the middle of class while throwing the ball in front of the Professor" said Melody with a shock-expression

"Professor probably said something that triggered her" said Blaise

"Wonder what she said" said Theo

We all finished descending down the stairs when I saw the crystal ball that Granger threw

"Hey guys, I'll catch you up later. I have to return this" I said

"Just leave it there Vel" said Draco

"It's fine. I'll be quick" I said

They nodded their heads and left for their next class. I went up the stairs again, leading towards the Divination classroom.
I went inside and called out Professor Trelawney

"Professor? I got your crystal ball here. I'll just place it on the table" I said loudly

I placed the glass on the table and went to turn around, but I stopped when I saw something on the ball.
I squinted my eyes and got closer to look at it properly.
