Classes were finally finished.
The Slytherin friend group were in the common room, finishing up their homework's that they've missed since they skipped classes today.
Vela wrote the last few words on her essay paper.
"And...done!" said Vela
"Hey Lu! You're looking so pretty today, you know?" Theo charmingly smiled
Vela rolled her eyes and gave her newly finished essay paper to Theo
"Wow! You didn't have to Lu! You're so sweet!" Theo placed his hands close to his chest
The rest laughed at his actions and Theo winked in reply
"Anyway, I've got to go. I'm meeting up with Professor Kairo." said Vela
After hearing the name Vela muttered, all of them halted their movement. They slowly looked up at Vela and stared at her dumbfounded.
"What?" asked Vela
"Did you just say-"
"Meeting up-"
"with-"
"Professor Kairo" all of them simultaneously said
"yeah..." Vela slowly said, not knowing why they're so shocked about it
"Am I dreaming?" asked Pansy
Daphne pinched her arm, still looking at Vela.
Pansy widen her eyes even more making Vela take a step back.
"Okay? Why are you guys looking at me like that?" Vela raised her eyebrow
"Are you hearing yourself? You said meeting up with Professor Kairo...so casually?" said Draco
"I don't even know why you guys are so shocked. He's not even that scary." Vela commented
"Yeah...no. This must be a dream." said Melody
"Whatever, I'm going to be late so I got to go. I'll see you guys later!" said Vela
"Be careful!" Vela heard Draco faintly shout when she was out the entrance door
After a few minutes of walking, Vela finally arrived at the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom that is now currently called Dark Arts.
Vela knocked on the door thrice and she then heard a faint but sharp
"Enter."
"Hello Kairo" Vela greeted, not noticing that she didn't mention his title
Surprisingly, Kairo Blackwell didn't really care so he didn't comment about it.
"Ms. Malfoy. You're late."
"Sorry, my friends were asking a bunch of questions. I got distracted, I guess."
"Never mind then. As you know, you only have a few days until the first task will occur. Do you have any plans on how you're going to beat the Dragon, Ms. Malfoy?"
"Well, I actually-wait..how did you know I'm going to compete with Dragons?" Vela curiously looked at the man
"Professors are informed about what will happen in every tasks Ms. Malfoy" said Professor Kairo
"Oh. Well, about your question. I don't really have anything. I read a few books in the library but I'm not even quite sure yet."
"Well, this is going to be harder than I thought.
Are you ready to commit into learning Ms. Malfoy? I need your focus and I need you to open your mind. You will be learning a lot, after all."
