"Absolutely! And you didn't even burn yourself! Just a little scratch from the Dragon's tail but that's about it!"
"I didn't know you could do that V!"
"I didn't know I could do that either" replied Vela
The Slytherin's held a congratulations party held for their champion. Vela was greatly surprised and she was thankful for her fellow housemates.
Vela and her friend group, including her brother were perched on the couches drinking a glass of butterbeer that Theo, Crabbe, and Goyle secretly sneaked in the common room.
Although, they hid it pretty well. They were pretty sure Professor Snape, their head of house, knew what they had done. But since it was a celebration for his Goddaughter and simply because he couldn't bother to reprimand them, he turned a blind eye and let the students be.
"Who taught you how to do that Lu?" asked Blaise who was sitting on a love seat chair beside Pansy, drinking a few sips of butter beer.
"Was it Professor Kairo?" Theo added
"Professor Kairo taught me other things like transfiguring the Dragon into a smaller creature or some spells and jinxes that could help distract the dragon but never did he show me how to protect myself from heat." said Vela, wondering how she protected herself from the great fire the Dragon released
"Do you have some kind of powers that you're secretly keeping from us V?" Melody jokingly rolled her eyes
"Maybe" Vela smirked in reply
"By the way, do you have any idea of what the next clue is?" asked Draco
"I haven't checked it yet. Hold on, I'll go get it" Vela stood up and went towards the desk that was placed against the wall. She picked up the heavy golden egg and went back to her seat
"I'm guessing I have to open this latch.." Vela mumbled and clicked the latch open. The second it open, a loud screech was heard making the party stop and the students quickly covered their ears because of the loud sound.
Vela then quickly closed the latch again, making the loud screech disappear.
"Bloody hell! What was that?" Blaise groaned
"I have no idea." Vela rubbed her ears to ease the pain
"How is that a clue?" asked Daphne
"Maybe I've got to do something to it?" said Vela who observed the golden egg
"Well the next time you do something, make sure you're alone. That scream could practically make my ears bleed" said Draco
Vela nodded her head in reply and decided to check the object later and instead continued the party that was held for her.

GREAT HALL
Half of the students were at the Great Hall having their early lunch. The students were still whispering about the happenings of the first task, especially about Vela and the dragon.
In the middle of a delicious meal and a quiet conversation, the students stopped at what they're doing and turned towards the Gryffindor table when they heard a fits of laughter coming from the Gryffindors.
They laughed as well when they saw the hilarious sight of Ronald Weasley holding out a hideous and worn-out dress robes.
"Is there a bonnet? Aha!" exclaimed Harry Potter
