You taught me
That my life was a canvas
I choose what colors to use
And what colors to mix
And what colors may spoil
The painting of my life.

But what if I didn't know
The consequences
Of using the wrong color?
You said that it would
Not spoil the painting,
But mark it

With its unusual
Yet beautiful shade.
Everything has its own reasons
And trying to erase the traces
Of 'unwanted' colors
Would do more harm than good.

I smile at the thought
While gazing at the moon
Wondering if I should change
My choice of colors.
Would you love me more
If my canvas was filled with rainbows?

For you :))
