"M-Mark how d-did you?" Jaemin asked with wide eyes making Mark smile bitterly. The liar got caught. He sighed and grabbed a bottle of beer.

He doesn't like to drink so much but tonight he needs it the most.

"I have been meeting with him for a few days. I am surprised that you didn't think I won't ever meet him when he actually live here. " Mark said and took a sip.

Jaemin gulped down his saliva and asked again,

"W-what did he say?"

"Everything" Mark said shrugging his shoulder , making it seem like he doesn't care. But Jaemin could clearly see how much pain he is in just by looking at his eyes.

He still remembers that day when he visited Hyuck in their home. When he told Mark about Hyuck not being expressing and he will open up eventually , Mark brightened up. He still remembers the hope in his eyes . But now the only thing he can see is pain.

Unbearable pain.

"Does Donghyuck know?" Jaemin asked with trembling voice. His heart is telling him that Hyuck doesn't know which is terrible.

"No" Mark said again without looking at Jaemin.

Jaemin closed his eyes in frustration. This is what he was afraid of. It isn't too unexpected. Truth always gets revealed no matter how hard you try to cover it up. But the painful thing is, the truth almost got vanished from the world. But before it could totally be vanished, Mark caught it. And now he won't let it go.

"You lied to me Jaemin. You said Hyuck isn't expressive. You said his personality is just how he is. But you lied about it. He was lively, happy , smiley before our marriage. He changed so much after marrying me. And I didn't even know that until now" Mark said laughing dryly.

"D-don't say it like that Mark. I am sure Donghyuck-"

"He doesn't love me Jaemin. He is not happy with me. He is not mine , he never was. He is forcing himself and this is the bitter truth. I-I forced him to.....do things. " Mark said and gulped down the whole bottle of beer in one go. Fucking hell.

"M-Mark no don't s-say that. Y-you didn't force him. He willingly did everything. He really cares for you. You can't deny that!" Jaemin said , trying to defend his best friend as much as possible.

"I know that Jaemin. And that makes me feel worst. He is such a kind soul , isn't he?? He loves his parents a lot. He promised them that he will take care of me, he will make me happy. He did it perfectly Jaemin. He did make me happy so much. But-"

"But what??" Jaemin asked desperately.

"But I couldn't do the same to him " Mark said as his eyes started to tear up. Jaemin's heart clenched seeing Mark like that.

He doesn't know Mark personally that much. But he can clearly see that he is a good man with a beautiful heart.

Nobody in this world should feel this kind of pain.

Mark blinked away his tears because he feels pathetic. He feels like he doesn't deserve to even cry. He is beyond guilty to make Hyuck go through this whole thing. If only he didn't accept the marriage. He took another bottle and started to drink again.

"You should talk to Hyuck about it Mark. You really should. Don't take any decision out of regret. " Jaemin said but Mark shook his head.
