Fluttering his eyes open, the first moment to capture his eyes that held confusion was the sun blooming on the horizon, almost being covered by the clear, rich blue sky. Just below them, the branches of each tree were spread out with such sweetness, like a parade of colours, an extraordinary beauty that sprung from just the simplest of seeds.

He no longer felt the world of pain but a sense of contentment as he took a glance around, taking in every detail.

A gorgeous field, filled with colourful and bright flowers and just above them were an iridescent glow of butterflies, all dancing in a whirl with each second their wings fluttering.

Too lost in his own thoughts, a soft laughter sang in his ear and he turned around, noticing a figure running from a distance as their delicate fingers slightly brushed against the flowers.

   It was a woman.

A petite woman standing around 5'5.

Dressed in a white summer dress, her golden brown hair cascaded down like perfect waves as it reflected the light of the sun; each strand moving freely in a breeze.

Squinting his eyes at her, he noticed she was facing him, beckoning him towards her. Curious to get a clear view of who she was, he took long strides towards her.

Now feeling frustrated when she stepped back every time he took a step forward as though she was teasing him?

He quickened his pace to get to her but she laughed, turning away from him as she chased around the butterfly that had been flying above them and he followed her every movement.

She was a mischievous one. That he could tell.

He rolled his eyes at her when she finally stopped, and he came to stand just inches away from her.
