Chapter 10

Joshua's POV

class had ended and I was just daydreaming about nothing when someone grabbed my hand and started dragging me somewhere I looked and to my surprise it was jeonghan
"What are you doing?" I said with a poker face
"We're going somewhere silly"
Just then I remembered what I told him in class. I only said that as I joke I didn't think he was actually serious about it but apparently he was. We snuck out of the school and quietly walked to the school gates and thankfully there were no teachers I climbed over the gate and let down a hand for jeonghan to grab
"I can manage by myself thank you very much" he said ignoring my hand making me shrug as he continued climbing. Once we got to the top he was already panting like he had just ran a marathon. He carefully peeked over the top and gasped as he realised that there was a really big jump. For me it wasn't that bad as I was used to jumping off high places. Once I had landed on the floor I turned back and he was still there staring at me with uneasiness
"Jump jeonghan" i hissed
"I-I can't what if I fall" he whispered harshly
"Jeonghan jump I'll catch you" i said reaching out to him
"Wait what are you crazy?"
"Hurry before a teacher sees you" i said hurriedly but he just stared at me
"What happened to proving to me that your not a goodie two shoes" I teased as he sighed
"Do you trust me?" I yelled
"What trust you? I barely know you why would I trust you?" He answered hastily
"Hannie I promise I'll catch you just trust me" I spoke softly
He just closed his eyes and jumped and as promised I caught him
"Told you I'd catch you" I whispered into his ears
"Whatever" he said trying to get out of my firm hold on him
"Where's my thank you Joshua for saving my life?" I whispered again making him roll his eyes
"Thank you so much Joshua. Your my knight in shining armor" he laughed as I let him go
"Anyways where are we going?" He asked looking at me
"It's a secret"
"But how are we gonna get there" He asked looking around for anything
"We're walking it" I simply stated
"Wait what are you serious?" He asked looking at me dumbfounded
"Haha no we are taking my motorbike come one let's go"
"You have a motorbike" He asked me surprised. The motorbike was gifted to me by my favorite cousin Vernon whose in America
"Yeah" I answered leading us towards my motorbike. When we got there we were greeted by my blood red motorbike with black bold stripes on it in a lighting pattern
"Is this yours?" He asked looking at it in amazement
"Well duhh there aren't any other motorbikes here, so it must be mine" I answered sarcastically. He just rolled his eyes at me whilst I hopped onto the bike motioning for him to hop on too
"Hold on tight or else you might fall off" I said looking at him
"Nahh I'm sure I won't fall off" He said ignoring my comment
"I only have one helmet so I think you should use it" I said placing my helmet onto his head
"Wait shouldn't you use it since your driving" He protested
"It's fine I'm a safe driver so I'll be fine" i said staring the motorbike
"Oh ok then" He said dropping the conversation

We were going at a normal speed and through the side mirrors I could tell that jeonghan was scared and wanted to hold me but wasn't. I guess it was because if he did he would lose his big giant ego. I didn't actually care about that but I really wanted him to hold me so I stared to increase the speed and I could see him getting scared as I felt a pair of warm arms wrap around my waist hugging me softly. I didn't want to ruin the mood by teasing him so I just stayed quiet

"The breeze is so nice" he said quietly
"That's the best thing about riding a motorbike. Just letting the wind smack against your face"

Jeonghan's POV

I was enjoying the breeze while resting my head onto Joshua's back, whilst I held his waist slowly loosening my grip
"Put your hands up in the air trust me it feels amazing" Joshuas yelled as the wind blew his hair back, exposing his shiny forehead
"Here goes" I said as I lifted my arms as the wind hit me making me shiver with pleasure
"I feel like those people in movies who always do this when they're on a motorbike" I laughed as Waved my hands around
"Haha it feels amazing though doesn't it?" Joshua laughed as I nodded, he then sped up sending more wind our way .

After what felt like an hour we arrived at the place Joshua wanted to show me and I was shocked to see that it was just a long hill
"is this what we came to see?" i said looking around expecting something amazing to pop out of no where.
"haha no silly the thing that were going to see is at the top of the hill" he said laughing at my confused expression
"oh" was all I said as I quickly kissed his cheek
"you are very cute Mr Hong Joshua" i said before taking off and running up the hill

"yah YOON JEONGHAN" i heard Joshua shout as he started running behind me i just laughed and started running faster I almost made it to the top when someone tackled me and we both fell on the floor laughing and rolling around until the figure stopped and caged me between his arms.

"do not call me cute yoon jeonghan i am not cute" he said looking into my eyes and i could hear him panting from all the running we did
"aww but joshuaa you are" i said smiling at him
"i am not"
"yes you are" it kept going back and forth until Joshua sighed
"I'm not cute I'm handsome your the one that's cute" he said smiling at me
"that is true though I am pretty cute and I guess you are kinda handsome" i agreed without thinking "but not as handsome as me" i laughed
"whatever" he said getting off of me. I got up and started dusting my self off as he did the same, I looked up and let out a quiet gasp at how beautiful the view was, you could see the whole town and the sky was so colorful
"wow the view is amazing up here" I said speechless
"I know right that's why i always come here when I'm stressed about something because the view always manages to calm me down, it's magical"
"yeah it is" I agreed
we talked so much that we completely lost track of time until we realized that the sun was starting to go down so i decided to look at the time on my phone and to my surprise it was time for school to finish wow we have been talking for a long time
"Joshua we need to head back now" I said sadly
"why its so beautiful though and I like spending time with just you" he whined cutely making me coo as I had never seen this side of the school bully
"yeah i know but we talked for so long and now it is time for school to finish and i promised my mum that we would spend time together after school and if she finds out that i skipped school she will kill me" i explained
"oh ok then lets go" he said shrugging to be honest i didn't really wanna go either i wanted something to remember this moment
"shua lets take photos" i said getting my phone out
"uh why would we do that" Joshua asked confused
"so then we have something to remember this moment" i smiled he just shrugged so i took it as an 'okay'. we started taking lots of photos nice, silly, goofy, serious and lots more. Then we decided to go home so we hopped on his motorbike so I wrapped my arms around him but before he could start saying things I just came up with an excuse saying that I was cold and hugging him would warm me up

This time the drive to my place was quiet but it wasn't awkward in fact it was quite peaceful and I felt safe with him. Once we got to my place I hopped off his bike and turned to him
"i had a great time today" I said smiling up at him
"yeah me too we should definitely do this again" he said as I handed him his helmet
"hmm yeah we should" i said smiling at him as I turned to walk away
"Wait" he said as I felt his strong hand gently grab my hand
"I'm glad your not scared of my like everyone else in school is and that you actually wanna talk to me. I know we're not that close but hopefully we can become great friends or maybe even more than that" he said as he pecked my forehead before hopping onto his motorbike and driving away
"bye Joshua" i shouted as he drove away
"bye jeonghannie" he shouted back
