Travel Down in the Dark (Naruto)

Chapter 12

Sorry I haven't updated in a while but I'm back!!! The song is a Higurashi Kira- Edo no Komori (Hanyuu's lullaby)!!! Now story START!!!

I awake to the sun shining harshly in my face making me wince and shit my eyes tight. I open my eyes again hesitantly and blink to adjust to the harsh morning light. Sitting up my back and neck pop a few times loudly as I stretch, I rub my eyes and stand up.

I quickly take a shower and change into the same outfit I had the previous day and start breakfast. The smell of bacon filled the air as it sizzled with a pop along with the scent of pancakes. I flipped the pancakes over with a flop and turned to my stocked fridge. I got out some strawberries, blueberries, bananas and a mango put them in the blender and made a fruit smoothie. I then set up the table and placed everything out and ready.

Naruto was snoozing away on the guest bed drool hanging from his mouth. I gained a sweat drop at the site and sighed while thinking of ways to wake him up. A little bulb lite up in my head and a mischievous grin made its way across my face.

I did some hand signs and produced freezing water above his head. I chuckled darkly again before dropping the jutsu making all the water rain down onto Naruto. He jumped up and screamed "AHHHHHHHH!"

He turned toward me fuming mad but I just snicker and walk away. After a bit he came in all dressed we ate breakfast and left for the academy.

The classroom buzzed with the kids who passed. I sat down right next to Sasuke in the seat all the fan girls were trying to get. They all started yelling at me but I just released my aura for a second making them all back down.

I was looking out the window when I glanced around the room feeling that I was being watched but only seeing everybody talking to others. I then remembered that Gramps would be watching. I looked up into the corner of he room and smirked. I put up seven fingers and then made hand signs and whispered, "Kai."

-Hokage's Office (3rd POV)-

The Hokage stood with his Jounin around a crystal ball watching the new genin socialize. Then zoomed in on Sasuke who was glaring away at the air particles in front of him.

"That there is the last Uchiha. Top of the class along side with scores all advanced in all subjects."

They then looked over toward Naruto who was trying to talk to Sakura. "Naruto Uzamaki. The Jinjuriki of the nine tailed fox. Orphan and at the bottom of the class failing the exam three times."

They then moved onto Kirai who was aimlessly looking out the window. "This is our new resident Kurai. She is outrageously strong beating our own Kakashi in a sparring match. We have checked her past and she isn't a spy but is an interesting character. She seems to know the future."

Just as the Hokage said that Kurai and looked straight at them and smirked. She held and seven fingers. Everyone in the room gasp. 'She knows we're here.'

Kurai then did the release hand signs and the image went away. Everyone stared wide eyed at the ball. The Hokage chuckled and looked up at the surprised Jounin. "Kakashi it seems that she wants to be on your team do you mind."

Kakashi looked at him lazily but nodded not really caring.

-back in the classroom (Kurai's POV)-

I lightly giggled and tuned back into my surroundings just in time to see Sasuke and Naruto kiss. I held a stolid face but it turned into red as I tried holding in my laughter. I burst out laughing when I saw them pull apart coughing and hacking.

When I finally stopped laughing as I saw the fan girls move in on Naruto but before they could reach him I jumped in front of them and released my aura. The all froze in place sweat dripped down their faces and their eyes widened.
