Chapter 13

*Kurai's POV*
Arriving at the Hokage building I raced up the steps and knocked on his door. I heard the rough, 'come in' and entered. The Hokage was sitting at his desk his head stuffed in paper. I giggled at the sight making the Hokage snap up and look at me. "Good afternoon oji-sama. I have come to tell you something extremely important."

"Good afternoon Kurai what is you wish to tell me."

My fave turned serious making the Hokage sit up straight and get serious. "It is about the one thing I left out during my explanation of my old life."

He nodded so I continued. "But first call Kakashi hear and tell him it's urgent he cannot be late for this."

Kakashi arrived a few minutes later with a serious face. I nodded in greying and continued where I left off. "After I died I woke up in a black abyss. I couldn't really move but what was the matter I was dead and yet there I was. After a few moments of thinking a voice came to me and the soul reaper himself appeared in front of me.

He spoke of making a deal which allowed me to live in another world where I truly belonged. At first the soul reaper really only wanted to take my soul by by the end I had agreed to his deal and I became The Junjuriki of the Shinigami.

"After I arrived in this world I had the body of a five year old with the mind of a fifteen year old. With my knowledge of the old world and with my experiences I made a living in this world meeting some famous people not all good. I have had a few run in with the Akasuki and Orochimaru. The have both tried to get me to join which I have declined. I have also met your other students and the rest of the Kages of the five nations. No one else knows I am the Jinjuriki of the shikigami. You should know I have perfect control over him for we have a great friendship. I am able to transform with him and gain his strength and knowledge."

I stared at the Hokage dead in the eye he wore a blank expression but his eyes were wide, Kakashi still stood in the same place but with a blank expression. "Why didn't you tell me this sooner?"

I huffed and flipped my red hair before staring back with dull blue emotionless eyes, "I had to clearly know I could trust you and your descions as well as this village. I know it is known for its peacefulness but you can never be too careful for betrayal often which happened to me in my other world."

His eye softened, "thank you for trusting me with this information I promise I use it will and protect you at all cost for you are now one of us and never forget that."

"Same here Kurai. I get your past and why you would be secretive. At least you trusted us enough to tell us. So I trust you."

I smiled back and bowed. "Thank you Oji-sama, but I must take my leave."

-Time Skip: Next Day-

I woke around 6 AM an hour late knowing Kakashi would be late. Getting ready for the day I ate breakfast and made some onigiri and dumplings for the others, some with tomatoes for Sasuke.

I grabbed my bag knowing I could be fighting in some way and headed toward the field by 6:30

When I arrived I saw the resting figures of Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. From all the way in the bridge I could hear Naruto's snores. Sakura was clinging onto Sasuke's arm who was had a look of disgust on his face even with him resting against a tree.

I chuckled earning the attention of Sasuke. He smirked and raised an eyebrow confused until I pointed to the sleeping Sakura next to him. His face scrunched up in disgust before snatching his arm from her grip and causally getting up and walking over to me.
