I finish eating dinner with Isaac for Jason left us about thirty minutes ago.

"Did you figure out what's up with him?"

"He says nothing, but I know he's lying." I say and he smirks with a small laugh.

"He's not one to show weakness, of something's bugging him, he ain't gonna share it."

"So I've seen." I say and he nods

"He's a great guy, but God an he be a pain in the ass." He says and I laugh following him into the kitchen with the plates.

"I haven't met a guy that's not." I say and he rolls his eyes and I laugh.

"Thank you, by the way, for letting us into your house." I say and he nods

"I'd do anything for Jason, and don't tell him but I've taken a liking to you. You're a good person for him."

"Oh, it's not like that. It can't be like that."

"Why not?"

"Because, even if I wanted it to, this curse keeps it from being able to happen."

"Please, nothing can keep you from the one you care most about."

"So I've been told, but all I've hit with that is dead ends." I say scrubbing my plate off then drying it with a dish rag.

"Listen, I've loved my life thinking the same way. Even gave up the love of my life for it. It's not worth it trust me, even if it seems like there is no way around this curse as you put it, shouldn't keep you from being happy."

"Well, thanks for the pep talk. But it's not gonna change my outlook on things. Thank you for dinner, have a good night." I say then put my plate up then spin around and climb the stairs and walk down the hall to our room. I push open the door and step in finding Jason sound asleep. I sigh and walk over changing out of these clothes, and into shorts and a T-shirt. I sigh then climb into the bed beside him and burrow under the comforter.

"Jason?" I whisper but he doesn't budge. I flip over so my back is to him, and I shut my eyes. I soon let sleep take me over and everything falls silent.
