Aurora woke up with a gasp, she knew that feeling all too well. She looked around the room, until her sight landed on Damon, who was sitting in an armchair, with a glass in his grasp. "Morning Princess" Damon greeted her with a grin, she returned his grin with a glare of her own, "Woke up on the wrong side of the bed I see" he comments, "What did you do?" she asked, "Depends, what time?" he sarcastically replied.

"You know, that little stunt in 1903" she clarified, even though she knew he knew what she meant. "Oh, that '' Damon trails off, "Yeah, we left your boyfriend behind, sorry" he says, in a tone, that he's not sorry at all. "You're not sorry, you're glad" she retorted, "You're right" he agreed, "I am, because now that little weasel is out of lives and we're never going back there" he states, Aurora looks at him confused, "You said you would bring your mothers friends back" she stated, he shrugged his shoulders, "I lied"

"You're a dick" she sneered, "Wouldn't be the first time you called me that, upon other names" he simply replied, "You don't care about anyone else, around you, as long as Damon's happy, all is well, right?" she rhetorically asked, she scoffed to herself, "God, and to think I had this gift for you, from Nova Scotia, I had just remembered I had it" she informed him, "But screw it, and screw you" she sneered, stabbing his chest with her finger, as his face dropped, realizing what she had, "Forget it though, I'll find someone else to hand it to"

With that, she left the Boarding House, and that's when the tears finally broke. She'd never see Kai Parker again.

Aurora planned on studying in the bar near Whitmore, she knew none of her friends would be there, so she had time to calm down, and hopefully figure out a way to get Kai out. She'd need the ascendant, which no doubt, Damon would be keeping stored somewhere. She'd also need Bennett blood, which Bonnie would definitely not give her, so she needed a way to get that too. She walked outside the back entrance, since the front wouldn't open, where she saw Matt and Tyler, "Hey, guys'' she called out to them, "Rory, what are you doing here?" Matt asked her, "Hoping to be somewhere quiet, so I can figure some things out. What are you guys doing here?" she replied.

"Training," Tyler replied, "For what?" she asked, confused, "Police Program'' Tyler replied, Aurora smiled, "No way, you two, officers?" she questioned, "Officer Lockwood. Officer Donovan" she looked between the two, "Yep" Matt replied, "You want to join us for some food?" he asked her, she nodded, needing the distraction, "Sure, as long as you're paying" she lightly jokes.

The three friends walked into the bar to hear loud music, and singing coming from Caroline, while all the students around just watched, "What did we just walk into?" Tyler asked, looking at Matt and Aurora. "Oh, look. It's the police officers in training" Stefan said, looking at the two boys, before his gaze landed on Aurora, "And Aurora, ah, sweet Aurora" she looked away from his gaze, feeling uncomfortable, "You guys here to arrest us, or analyze us?" he asked, switching his gaze from Matt and Tyler to Aurora.

"You can go now" he turned to the girl, who's hand he had bleeding into a cup, she grabbed her hand and ran away, "What the hell are you doing?" Tyler asked him, "I'm just enjoying the music. You guys want the next song?" Stefan replied, "No, we were just leaving" Aurora replied, spinning on her heel, along with Matt and Tyler, when Stefan used his vampire speed, to go in front of them, preventing them from leaving. "Oh, stay" he told them, "Caroline's taking requests"

Stefan cleared out the bar, leaving only him and Caroline, along with Aurora, Matt and Tyler. Caroline had finished singing another song, the three friends slowly clapped, waiting to be able to leave. "Look. We listened to you sing. We clapped our hands. Can we go now?" Tyler asked the blonde vampire, "Yeah, Care, we have stuff to do" Aurora added, "Let's play Caroline trivia" she ignored their questions, "I don't even know what that is" Tyler replied, "Oh sure you do" she jumped off the stage, "You both dated me. And you, Aurora, are my sister. Which means you should know everything about me" she collapsed onto the nearby sofa.
