"I don't like this bloody place." Faye mumbled as she walked the halls of Locke High School. She was an only child with parents who mistook her for a happy go lucky teen, but what she was feeling was no where close. About six months before she moved here she was walking the sides of the street watching the leaves as the wind whipped them from their branches. She watched as the leaves fell to ground and rolled away. Her eyes followed the leaves as they rolled towards "The Black Cat", an old bar that everyone on the bad side of town ends up at. One was tall with gray hair, a beard not much longer than the bristles on a hairbrush, and a little mustache that was about half an inch long. The other guy was short with brown hair, a scar on his cheek, a beard that looked to be about two inches long, and a little chunky. She didn't think twice about going home when the guys started to walk towards her. As she was running back the way she came she had forgotten about the crack in the sidewalk where the tree root had grown. She glanced back to see how far ahead she was and when she turned back around she ran straight into the guys who were chasing her. She tried to
run back the other way, but when she took off she tripped over the stump and fell to the ground. The guy with the gray hair grabbed her shirt and pulled her back up getting a tighter grip by the second.
