Y/N's POV:

I woke up on JJ's bed in the chateau . I tried to get up but my rib was in terrible pain. I grunted in pain as I layed back. "y/n!?" a voice said from beside me. It was JJ.

"Hey JJ" i mumbled. he instantly sat on the bed and smiled at me. "Jesus y/n, You scared the hell out of me!" he said while cupping my cheeks and smiling. "J-JJ what happened?" I asked in confusion. "uh- Rafe happened, I swear im going to kill him for what he did to you y/n" JJ said in a low voice.

I instantly remembered what happened last night. How would I be able to look at Rafe anymore? A tear formed in my eye once I remembered what had happened to JJ.

"J-JJ, Rafe h-hurt you." whimpered while bursting in tears. He layed beside me and placed his head on top of mine and wiped my tears with the other. I rolled over and rested my head in the crook of his neck, snuggling into him to feel his warmth. He wrapped his arm around my waste and rubbed my head. " I'm Okay sunshine, Dont worry." later we fell asleep. ------------------------------------

About an hour had passed and I woke up. JJ was snuggled into me with his hand wrapped around mine. I started getting a feeling in my guts, a weird one. It was one that ive never felt before. Sort of like a butterfly feeling. I was falling in love with my best friend JJ maybank.

"JJ" I said in a quiet voice. "yes sunshine?" he replied in a groggy voice. "Where is everyone?" I asked. "they are all outside waiting for you to wake up" he replied. "Can we go see them?" I asked with puppy dog eyes. "Of course!" He replied while getting up. He walked over to the side of the bed and started to lift me up, While being gentle. I could tell he was trying to make sure he didn't hurt me. as I started to stand up I grunted in pain.

"Im so sorry y/n! Did I hurt you??" he asked worriedly. "no JJ!" I replied smiling at him.

he wrapped my arm around his shoulder and we walked to the back door. "Y/N!" Kie yelled while jumping out of her seat to give me a hug. " Hey!" I replied back. Pope also joined in on the hug. " Glad your doing better y/n" Pope said. "Thanks pope! Wait where are Sarah and John B?" I asked. " They went to Sarahs house to deal with Rafe.

I didn't answer. The thought of rafe disgusted me. I never thought he would ever hurt me like that. but if anything it helped me see his true colors. -----------------------------------

The day had past by so quickly. All of us were talking and playing in the backyard by the fire. "Im so tired, I need to go to bed now" , Kie mumbled while yawning. " Yeah I agree." Pope said while getting up. "Good night guys!" me and JJ exclaimed.

Pope and Kie went to their bedroom in the chateau.

A few minutes passed and me and JJ were sleepy. We headed back into the chateau to get some sleep. I set up some pillows onto the couch but JJ insisted that I slept in his bed since he was hurt. when we got in JJ 's room he started to place a warm blanket on the bed for me. while he was doing that I walked over to the dresser. I pulled out one of JJ's over-sized shirts and I tried to change. when I raised my arms I felt a sharp pain in my rib. I grunted in pain. JJ came rushing over and he helped me put my shirt on.

Moments later I got ready to get in bed, But I noticed JJ placing pillows and a blanket on the chair in his room. "JJ? what are you doing?" i asked. "Im sleeping on the chair so you get the bed to yourself" He replied. "I moved over to the left side of the bed and I patted the right side, motioning him to come lay with me.

He walked over and got in bed with me. He pulled me closer to him and I rested my head on his chest and I could hear his heartbeat. I got those butterfly feelings again. He felt like home.

"JJ?" I mumbled

" Yes y/n?" He replied

" I- I like you, JJ" I whispered while keeping my head down, avoiding eye contact.

" I've always liked you sunshine" he said

I looked up at him and smiled.

" Does this mean we can finally date?", he asked excitedly while looking down at me.

I smiled and held his hand " Yes JJ!"

"HELL YEAH!" He shouted.

I giggled then I looked up at him and pecked him on the lips. ------------------

we watched movies for a while then we fell asleep. I was happier than ever.
