it was around 12 in the afternoon and the pogues and i were just chilling in the backyard. kie and pope were chilling on lawn chairs, jb was feeding the chickens,and i was laying in the hamic with jj.
"we gotta go down there and get the rest of the gold" jj said while holding the two gold bars in his hand.
"yeah what about tonight or something" pope said
"cant, gotta work to pay off the restitution" jj huffed
" is there anything we can do? you've been working so much lately." i said while rubbing his free hand
"well the restitution isnt gonna pay its-self" he said while tossing the gold in the air then catching it
wait. the gold. that can help him!
"the gold" i gasped while lifting my head from jj's chest
"what about it princes?" jj asked
"we can bring it to a pawn shop. that'll give us 40k at least which will pay for your restitution and give us extra money" i exclaimed
"no y/n. i got myself into this mess. you pawn that and save the money for yourself." he said while planting a kiss on my lips
"no j. i dont want anything other then you. and once we pay it off, you wont have to work and we will have all the time in the world for ourselves." i said
"y/n-" jj began to say
"j, please." i interupted while holding his hands tight
"shes right you know" john b said while sitting beside pope
"but what about you guys? you could put it to better use" jj said
"theres more gold down there. we'll go get the rest and make loads of money off of it" pope added
"please say yes j." i pouted
"fine. but we will go down to get the rest as soon as we can." jj said sternly
"thank you!!" i said while kissing him repeatedly
"wait but how will we get rid of the wheat symbol? it will raise suspicion" pope questioned
"we melt it" kie stated
i smiled.

"are you sure you know what youre doing?" pope asked kie as she melted the gold with a heat gun
"yes im sure pope." kie said
"just dont burn your fingers off" i added
"alright, does that look good enough?" kie asked while picking up the now melted gold nugget
"yes! damn you did a good job" i squeeled

"alright, y/n you and jj go pawn it off and we'll wait in here" jb stated while me and jj got out of the twinkie
"lets hope this works, yeah?" i said to jj as he held my hand
"yup" he confirmed
"hello" the lady at the counter said
"hey" i said
"what brings you guys here today?" she asked
"we want to pawn this gold" jj said as he placed the gold on the counter
"thats fake." the lady said sternly
"what makes you think that?" i asked
"there is no gold in outer banks. and why does it look so deformed?"the lady questioned
