today i was exactly 39 weeks pregnant. ive had my good and bad days throughout the pregnancy, but jj has been there for me the whole way. he has been saving loads of money so that he can support us, but also staying home lots to take care of me. i cant wait to raise our baby together. i have to admit, being a teen mom is scary. im only 16 and hes 17. but im ready.
jj and i were in the shower together, as usual. its hard showering alone while pregnant. he was helping me wash my hair until i felt a sharp pain in my stomach.
"ow" i groaned in pain
"whats wrong babygirl? are you okay?" he asked concernedly
"yeah, probably just the baby kicking again" i guessed
once we were finished showering, jj helped me dry off and get changed. i was wearing black shorts and one of his hoodies.
"how are you feeling?" he asked as he rubbed my back
"a little sore" i said as i leaned into his chest
"ill go get you some advil princess" he said while slowly getting up
a few minuites passed and i felt something odd. a pop. i looked down and saw fluid everywhere.
my water broke.
"shit, jj!" i called
"babygirl whats wrong?" he said while running up the stairs
"i-i think my water just broke" i mumbled
"oh shittt" he said while panicking
within minuites we were loaded in the car. jj carried me to it, along with the baby bag and car seat.
"jj please hurry" i cried in pain as i squeezed my legs together
"were almost there princess" he reassured while rubbing my thigh the whole way
"jj it hurts" i whined in the middle of a contraction
"i know baby, just breathe. squeeze my hand as hard as you need" he said while holding mine
"please help her, shes in labour" jj yelled as he carried me into the hospital
a nurse ran up to us and gave me a wheelchair.
"whats your name hun?" the lady asked
"y/n. a-and thats jj" i groaned
"okay, how far apart are the contractions?" the nurse asked
"four minuites" jj confirmed
he was counting. i love him
"alright, so im going to take you into a new room to put on a gown and give you an IV and epidural, meanwhile jj im going to send you off to the delivery room" the lady stated
"wait, no why cant he come?" i panicked
"we have to limit as many people as possible in there, as the epidural could be unsafe" the lady said
"i-i need j-" i began to say
"princess, it will be fast okay? and ill be right here when you come back" he stated while placing a kiss on my head
"okay" i said while the nurse led me to the other room

once the nurse finished prepping me, she brought me to the delivery room.
"hey princess" jj said while helping me up on the bed
"hey j" i smiled
"you look good in hospital gowns" jj joked
"stop that !!" i giggled as i hit him in the arm

many hours had passed and id been in labour for what feels like hours. ive reached 10 cm dilated and the nurse told us that when the next contraction comes, its time to push.
jj was sitting in the chair right beside my hospital bed, holding my hand tight.
"so if its a boy, what about grayson?" i asked
"thats a awesome name, and what about a girl, nova?" jj asked
"woah, thats a pretty name jj. i love it" i said
"really?" he asked
"yes j !!" i smiled
"i love you" i said
"i love you too" he confirmed
"wait whats wrong?" he asked as i grunted
"contraction" i groaned
"nurse !" jj called
"whats wrong?" she asked
"she got the contraction" jj confirmed
"time to push" she said as the doctors ran in
one of the doctors propped my legs up and apart, while the others started grabbing towels and supplies
"j im scared" i mumbled
"princess im right here, just breathe you can do it" he promised as he clasped my hand.
"okay i need you to start pushing now hun" the doctor said
i squeezed jj's hand as tight as possible and i started pushing for what felt like hours
"one more push sweetheart, come on" the nurse said
" i- i cant it hurts too much" i cried
"princess you can do this. you need to do this. i love you" jj said while rubbing my head with his free hand
and with that, i used my last bit of energy to push as hard as i could.
"come on princess !!" jj stated as i screamed and yelled
"youre almost there" the doctor said as i groaned
suddenly i heard a baby cry.
tears started streaming down my face in joy. i look over at jj whos eyes were glossy as he admired the human we made.
"you did it baby" jj said as he kissed me multiple times
"its a girl!" the nurse screeched. "do you want to hold her?" she added on as she handed me my baby.
i nodded as she placed her in my arms
"nova" i smiled
the nurses had brought us to the recovery room after doing standard checks on nova.
i layed the bed with my hed rested on jj's chest, as nova was cradled in mine and jj's arms.
"i am so proud of you baby" jj whispered "i cant wait to raise nova together. and have our own little family. i love you both so much" he added on as he planted a kiss on my head. i smiled.
suddenly the world went quiet. i was living my dream life. starting my own little family with the love of my life, jj. raising our baby together. i cant wait to see whats ahead of us, i love them so much.
