PROLOGUE EMILY MIYAGI JONES was born in New York on 2 November, 2006. Making her the youngest out of her two siblings: Casey (18 years old) and Suki (16 years old). Emily basically grew up on the karate mat tanks to her grandfather Mr. Miyagi. But when she turned ten she got badly injured in a tournament and even after she healed, she was to afraid to ever do karate again. She found some other hobby's such as drawing, fashion and dance. She started loving fashion and started designing and making her own clothes. She also joined her older sister every Saturday at dance lessons by the local dance studio. But a year after her injury Emily and her family moved to Canada for her fathers job, Emily hated that she had to move because it ment leaving her friends in NYC. She lived in Canada for 3 years and started snowboarding professionally. But then she had to move again, now because her mother got offered a job as head of cardio in a hospital in Los Angeles.
So what happens when she befriends the helpless new boy to stand up against his bully but the is forced to be the bullies lab partner for the rest of the school year?
