(Y/N)'s pov:
the next week i was walking down the hallway when all of a sudden someone grabbed me by my sweatshirt and pulled me into a room. i yelped, but was soon tackled in a hug. golden curls tickled my chin and a tight embrace prohibited me from moving. after a few moments of processing, i realized it was bebe hugging me. i stood there for a second in shock, but eventually brought myself to hug back tentatively.
"i'm so sorry (Y/N). i have no idea why i said those terrible things. i'm so ashamed and truly love you so much. if i'm honest, i still kind of like kyle, so when you said that thing about him i became defensive. oh i'm so embarrassed please forgive me!"
we held a hug and the conflict played out in my head.
should i forgive her? i was super hurt by her words, but i do really love her...
i decided on an answer and spit it out.
"i forgive you."
i relaxed more in her arms and she squeezed me even tighter. i could feel my shirt become damp with tears. "aw bebe don't cry, i promise i forgive you." she pulled away and smiled tearfully.
"thank you so much (Y/N) you mean the world to me."
i smiled back and she wiped a tear from her eye. giggling a bit, she continued speaking. "i have to get to math but i'll see you later." i nodded as she exited the empty classroom.
my friendship was restored, but now i was met with a new problem.
bebe still likes kyle? shit what do i do now? i cant betray one of my best friends. but at the same time i really like him.
i stared at the ground consumed in my own thoughts. i snapped out of my internal dialogue when someone came in. butters walked in with a spring in his step. "hey there (Y/N)! i stopped by cus i saw you in here alone. wanna walk to french with me?" his cheerfulness brought a smile to my face. he is so cute and such a great friend.
"sure butters, that would be great."
