dancing in the window

(Y/N)'s pov:
i came home front school and went straight to my room. i was exhausted and emotional for no reason. i crashed on my bed and stared at the ceiling.

i need something to clear my head.

i smiled to myself as i thought of having a dance party. yes i know it sounds stupid, but sometimes you just need to dance it out and move on you know? now excited, i got up from my bed and turned on my speaker. i connected my phone and started blasting 'hello' by dragonette. i start moving to the music and i'm sure i look very stupid, but who cares? i'm jumping around and start to get hot so i take off my sweatshirt.

("i'm not the kind of girl to get messed up with you, hello.")

i let my head turn side to side and let my wild hair follow. i started to relax and let loose. i was having fun and that's all that mattered in the moment.

Kyle's pov:
i was on my computer doing my physics homework and complaining to stan since i was on facetime with him. bored, i look around my room and eventually through my window. a movement caught my eye and i followed it to see it was coming from (Y/N)'s window. i gazed as she was dancing in her room. she looked a bit silly, but i thought it was cute. i smiled and continued to stare. her messy (h/c) hair was wild and her body moved freely to the music she was probably listening to.

she looks so carefree and fun.

i must've been staring for a while because stan finally took notice. "earth to kyle?" he said annoyed. i turned to him wide-eyed. "shit sorry dude." i said. "stop staring at her and do your work." i made a face. "how'd you know i was looking at her?"

"you were smiling while looking out the window. what was she even doing anyways, like changing or something?" i made a disgusted face. "stan i'm not perverted like kenny. plus, she's just dancing in her room." "whatever. just finish your physics so you can come over." i sighed.

"okay."
