(Y/N)'s pov:
monday was our final match between our rivals and us for soccer. kyle and i kept it quiet that we were officially together as we wanted to surprise everyone. we still texted basically every second of every day though and had our fun.

i was so in love with him.

anyways monday rolled around and we were in the second half of our game with minimal time to go. the score was still 0-0 and the pressure was on. everyone there could practically hear the clock tick down.

i took a deep breath and asked the ref how much time was left. she looked at her watch. there's 2 minutes left." i swore internally. that's barely enough time to formulate a plan let alone score. that's when a miracle occurred. sofia somehow dribbled the ball through 3 opposing players down the center. with two defenders now running up to her at the same time, she looked up, desperate to get rid of the ball before she was tackled. i snapped back into reality and ran up the left side towards the goal. i then raised my hand as a signal that i was free. she passed the ball to me and i received it with ease. attempting to even achieve a shot on net, i cut in towards the center and shot the ball into the top right corner. it felt as if it were in slow motion, but finally the ball brushed past the goalie's fingers and placed itself into the net. my face lit up with joy and i turned to my teammates. at that exact moment the three whistles blew.

we had won the game.

my friends on the field and i jumped up and down with joy. we completed our normal tradition of tackling each other at our own goal. we were beyond ecstatic. after our celebration had settled a bit, i immediately looked for kyle on the sideline. once i spotted him, i ran up to him and jumped into his arms. he held me up as i sat in his arms with my legs wrapped around him. we stared deep into each other's eyes for a moment before diving into a kiss filled with passion and love.

we felt like the only ones in the world.

after a few moments of holding the kiss, we then broke. he set me down and beamed back at me. when i turned to the others around us, they all stared at us with mouths open. i forgot that until now our friends had no idea any of this had happened. still holding on to kyle by his neck, i giggled a bit and turned back to him also looking at our friends. i took this opportunity to kiss him on the cheek.

"what the fuck?" kenny practically yelled breaking the stunned silence. kyle and i laughed at his surprise. wendy was next to speak up. "when did this happen?" a smirk creeped up on her face as she asked that. "last friday." i said returning the smile. our friend then swarmed us and started asking a plethora of questions.

after everyone knew we proceeded to live our lives together. we would spend every minute of every day together and it definitely annoyed our friends, but we didn't mind. we also ended up going to prom and winning king and queen. everyone cheered us as we danced together on the floor and it was one of the core memories that would be developed.

i was so happy with him and nothing could change that.
