(TW: mention of suicide)
(Y/N)'s pov:
i sat on my bed doing physics homework. i usually like physics, but fuck this was the most boring thing ever. exasperated, i sighed and looked out the window as a distraction. i realized i had never actually looked out of this window properly since i moved here. nothing interesting caught my eye until my eyes fell on the house next to me.isn't this kyle's house?
i scanned the exterior when i saw a window looking into someone's bedroom. a harder look and i realized someone was in it. low and behold, kyle stood in the middle of the room calling someone. he was pacing and talking angrily at someone on the phone. i watched him for a few seconds until he happened to look up and saw me. he looked away quickly but then met my gaze again as he realized we had made eye contact. he gave an awkward smile and waved. i returned the gestures and picked up my phone.
(Y/N): never realized you could actually see me from your window haha
i texted him that knowing that he wouldn't see it until he ended the call. i then sighed and returned to my homework.
Kyle's pov:
"cartman you can't keep making those comments at lunch she's gonna catch on that i like her at some point!" i yelled through the phone at the fatass. "kahl, calm down the bitch doesn't know shit. besides, if she did, it would probably be because you turn as red as your hair every 5 seconds." my heart stopped.oh my god what if she does know and she's just being friends with me because she feels sorry for me?
i snapped out of my thoughts and went back to being angry. "first of all don't call her a bitch fatass. second, she's only gonna figure it out if you keep pulling shit like this!" as i said this i happened to glance out the window. my eyes naturally looked through (Y/N)'s window but only to be met with a surprise. i took a double take as i realized she was looking back at me. i stared back for a few seconds realizing that she'd figured out that this is my room and i was in it. i awkwardly smiled and waved trying to play it off. she smiled and waved back and proceeded to look back down at something on her bed.
i hung up the phone tired of cartman's shit and groaned.
how does cartman manage to fuck up my life all the time?
when i looked back down at my phone, it said i had one new message. not thinking anything of it, i mindlessly tapped to open it and was met with a text from (Y/N). i furrowed my brow in confusion as i read the text.
(Y/N): never realized you could actually see me from your window haha
i stared down at my phone in shock she had even thought to text me. i looked up again through the window searching for her kind face. a focused expression was painted on her face as i gathered that she was doing homework. smiling, i looked back down at my phone to respond.
Kyle: haha yeah. whatcha doing?
once i sent it, i gazed up into her window again. i watched as her attention shifted and she picked up her phone. she then looked at me and smiled. the typing bubble showed up on my screen and finally came with a message.
(Y/N): lame physics homework. you?
i typed out a response.
Kyle: well i was yelling at cartman on the phone, but now i'm texting you :)
(Y/N): why were you yelling at cartman? i mean i can't blame you, but what happened this time?
my heart raced as i tried to make up an excuse.
