Eventually, your loneliness turned into rage. And in your mind, through all the grief and mourning over your lost friendships, you decide to spite them as a last act against them.
There was only one thing they ever asked of you. One thing they told you to never do under any circumstance.
Never, ever, go into the woods on your own.
