WARMT EJECTED FROM THE LARGE FIRE and brightened up the dark night. The blazing sun was long gone and replaced by the luminance of the moon, and the Gladers all found themselves in the midst of their traditional bonfire celebration for the new Greenie.

Andie clinked both her and Fry's jars together—both filled to the brim with Gally's secret recipe—before tilting their heads back, letting the god awful liquid run down their throats. Despite the bitter and uncanny taste, she had grown accustom to the flavor, now finding it rather pleasant then anything else.

Sending the boy a smug smile, she turned and walked off in the direction of the Runners preached on a log by the fire. The corner of her lip tugged in a smirk as she watched Minho devour a bowl of Frypan's dinner, much like the one she held in her own hand.

"Hungry are we?" She teased as she sat down beside him, placing her drink down by her feet. Minho swallowed his bite and wiped his mouth messily on his sleeve before meeting her eyes.

"Running 'round a maze all day will do that to you." He grumbled, making the girl snicker and nod in agreement.

She too was starving much like any Glader, so she found herself gobbling down the dinner the moment she took her first bite. Fry always hit the spot with his food.

"So, what do you think?" Andie brought her attention to Daniel who had spoken and Jeremy who stood next to him, both fellow Runners. She raised her eyebrows in question, having little to no clue what they were going on about.

"About the new guy." Jeremy elaborated, capturing the interest of the boy sat beside the girl. He hadn't spoken to the guy yet after all.

Andie shrugged, "I don't really have any thoughts about him. He's just a dumb shank like any of you." Her words made laughter break out between the boys in the vicinity, none of them taking her words to heart.

"Well I heard he peaked your interest." Another of the boys spoke pointedly, as if she had been caught. The girl however only rolled her eyes, grumbling under her breath.
