•° Ruined Proposal °•

After the Bruno fiasco Mirabel's dad came in and caught you both examining the vision, Dolores overheard your conversation, and before you knew it you're sitting at the dinner table for Mariano's proposal, Abuela wasn't completely fond of the idea of you being there since you weren't really apart of the family but everyone else was adamant on having you and the Guzman's didn't mind so you found yourself sitting between Camilo and Dolores.

Dolores was practically twitching and the stare Mirabel was giving Dolores even made you uncomfortable.
Though the second Mirabel's eyes were covered Dolores was stretched behind you whispering into Camilo's ear. He quickly shifted between Mirabel, Bruno and suddenly back to normal- though his face was questionable...and a little concerning.

The secret was spread across the dinner table and Abuela seemed to be getting annoyed, but kept a smile anyway for the Guzman's as things started falling apart around you. You sank back in your seat, wishing you could disappear when the door swung open and the town was met with disappointment whilst Mirabel was being degraded by her family. It was sad to watch.

Camilo ran into the kitchen, you were baffled by the fact  he was making tea right now but that wasn't the point, you followed Mirabel and saw Bruno, running after them both, adrenaline shooting through you at unimaginable levels. This was so stressful, both you and Mirabel chased Bruno through the walls of Casita, you nearly screamed when the floor snapped and Mirabel was hanging on, shouting for help from Bruno.
You were trying to reach her but you were quite the distance behind, so you weren't close enough. Thankfully Bruno tried saving her, thought they both fell and turns out it was actually not a really big fall. Before you could process what just happened you were standing with Mirabel and Bruno, awkward silence taking over for a few seconds before Bruno simply said
"Bye"
And walked off, you almost couldn't believe that this was Bruno. You needed to have a word with Camilo because boy did he need to get his facts straight, this man was probably 5'3 at best.

"Were you in here... patching the cracks..?"

You snapped out of it and saw Bruno and talking about acting or whatever, it didn't interest you and you peered through one of the openings in the wall.

There you saw Camilo, helping calm down his mother next to a spilt cup of tea, so that's why he made it. You underestimated him, Camilo was so sweet and thoughtful, sure he was a goofball too but that was just part of who he was and you absolutely loved that about him.
Everything about him you loved.

"Mami, have you seen y/n?"
Camilo asked when Pepa calmed down.

"No Camilo, not since dinner, but maybe they went home, tonight was a disaster."

Camilo frowned and shook his head,
"No, that's not like them... I'm going to go look!" He said before running off, leaving Pepa to sigh.

"Oh Mijo..."
