I'm Not Like Him | Hwang Hyunjin

t was about 1 AM and you had fallen asleep on the couch. Hyunjin and Chan were in the kitchen talking since they couldn't fall asleep. Hyunjin would turn around the corner once a while to make sure you were okay while you were sleeping. You then started to cry in your sleep, not loud but they both could hear you sniffling.

"Is that Y/n?" Chan questioned.

You then started to scream, but it was unsure if it was in pain or fear. Hyunjin instantly got out of his seat along with Chan, when they both started hearing you scream it was worrying them. Hyunjin rushed over to you and tried to wake you up, he wasn't even sure if you were even having a nightmare.

"Is she having a nightmare?" Chan finally spoke up.

Chan then tried helping out Hyunjin to wake you up. They finally got you to wake up and Hyunjin sat down next to you as you were still crying. They both looked at you with a worried expression, you couldn't control how much you were crying. Hyunjin still sat with you, you in his arms so that you could try and calm down.

Eventually the others came out of their rooms from the noise from outside. Chan had told them everything was fine and sent them back to their rooms and Chan too had also gone to his room. You took a moment to process what happened after you calmed down.

"We don't have to talk about it, all I want to know is that you're okay."

You didn't want to talk about it. You didn't even want to think about the nightmare you just had.

For the rest of the night he cuddled up to you, you eventually fell asleep on his chest and he fell asleep when he knew you were okay. Morning came and you were both hugging in your sleep. Hyunjin heard laughter and small whispers. His eyes opened to see Felix and Jisung, trying to keep each other quiet while they were laughing.

"What are you guys doing?" Hyunjin groans for them, waking him up.

They both looked at him and realized they weren't being quiet enough and had woken Hyunjin up.

"I told you guys he would wake up." Minho calls out from the kitchen.

"Just don't wake Y/n."

Hyunjin carefully gets up and lays you down on the couch. Jisung then goes up to Hyunjin and shows him something on his phone. It was a picture of you and Hyunjin hugging each other in your sleep.

"You guys are so cute~"

"Wow, that's really funny. Delete that." Hyunjin spoke seriously.

Just then Felix snatched Jisung's phone and took off running around in the dorm with Jisung following behind him and Hyunjin chasing them both. As they were coming back around to the kitchen they were stopped by Chan.

"What are you guys doing?"

Felix and Jisung pushed Hyunjin forward to talk.

Hyunjin sighs. "They took a picture of Y/n and I sleeping on the couching together and I told them to delete it then-"

"He did delete it." Felix interrupts.

"No he didn't. You snatched his phone and started running around the dorm and I started chasing you."

"Okay, relax. Everyone else is still sleeping. Just delete the picture and come help Minho and me, now."

All three of them nod and follow Chan into the kitchen. You eventually woke up and got up to go into the bathroom. You closed the door once you got in there and looked at yourself in the mirror.You couldn't stop thinking about what happened last night. The nightmare you had was filling your head. You sighed to yourself.

You were trying not to think about it, it scared you. Then you felt a pair of arms wrap around you.You looked in the mirror and saw Hyunjin smiling while his head rested on your shoulder.

"Hi." You eventually said, breaking the silence between you two.

He makes a small 'hmm' sound to answer you.

You turned around to hug him properly.

"Come. There's breakfast on the table."

He grabs your hand and takes you into the kitchen. You're greeted by the rest of the members who were sitting down at the table.

"Was I really the last one to wake up?" You question.

"Yeah you were. I'm surprised you didn't wake up from all the noise from earlier." Minho says.

"Yeah, it woke me up." Changbin looks over at the three who were running around the dorm earlier.

"What?"

"Don't worry about it. Let's just eat." Hyunjin says as you two sit down at the table.

Everyone starts eating and you just sit there fidgeting with your hands.

"Are you okay?" Jeongin leans over and says to you.

"Yeah I'm just not that hungry." You reply.

"More for me." Changbin says.

That causes him and Jisung to start arguing and you just laugh at them and of course Chan had to stop them.

You say your goodbyes as you put your shoes on. Hyunjin sat in the car waiting for you as you were saying your goodbyes to the members. As soon as you get in, Hyunjin drives off right away. You arrive at your house and he walks you to your door.

"Thank you for taking me home." You turn around to face him.

He smiles at you and kisses the top of your head.

"I should get going, we have to head to the company today. I'll call you later." Hyunjin says as he walks backwards.

"I love you, Y/n." He smiles at you.

"I love you too Hyunj-"

"No, I LOVE you more than you can imagine." You roll your eyes playfully at him.

You wave at him as he gets in his car and drives off.
