Seven

All of the guys were at practice so you decided to visit them. It had been a week or so since you moved into the dorms with them. Ever since that you've been going with them to practice to watch them, so you wanted to surprise them since they left early for practice today. You also wanted to see Hyunjin.

"Ah Y/n!" Felix greeted you as you entered the building. "Hi." He gave you a smile.

"Hey Felix." You smiled. "Where's everyone?"

"Oh everyone else is taking a break, but Hyunjin is still in the practice room." You looked around as Felix took you to see the others.

"Y/n!" The boys greeted you and you smiled at them.

"Hyunjin still in there?" You ask and they nod their heads.

You slowly opened the cracked door and your eyes immediately went to Hyunjin who was still practicing.

"Hey love." You say sitting down on the couch.

"Hi." He looked at you through the mirror and nodded his head quickly, not stopping practicing.

"How has practice been?" You ask. He didn't answer. He just kept dancing.

"I tried texting and calling you.. were you guys practicing all this morning?" You ask.

"Yeah we did Y/n and you know that."

That left you a bit shocked. He never snapped at you like that.

"I'm sorry.. I was just asking. I don't know how long you guys practiced for." You say but it was clear he didn't hear you.

"What?" He looked at you through the mirror.

"Nothing. Don't worry about it." You shake your head.

"No, you said something. I heard you." He stops the music that was playing and walks over to you.

"Have you been ignoring me?" You hesitantly ask.

"You think I would ignore you? I wouldn't, we've been practicing a lot." He sits down next to you. "Y/n do you realize how important to practice is?"

"Yes I realize that, Hyunjin. Please let's not fight."

You knew this could turn into an argument and that's the last thing you wanted.

"You should just go. I'm busy." He stood up and went back to where he previously was.

"Hyunjin, please you've been here for too long." You walked over to him, grabbing his hand. "Please just at least come and eat with me-"

"No Y/n! Just go!" He snapped at you. You lightly jumped.

"Fine.. I'll just eat with Jisung and Changbin." You turned away, blinking away the tears that were fighting to fall and left the room.

As soon as you closed the door you could feel the boys' gazes on you.

"Y/n?" Chan said.

"He didn't want to eat with me. You two want to join?" You looked over at Changbin and Jisung who nodded their heads.

The three of you went to eat but all you ordered was a coffee.

"I thought you were hungry?" Jisung says, taking a bite of his food. You shook your head.

"I don't have an appetite anymore." You responded.

"Did something happen?" Changbin asks. You look at him as you take a sip from your coffee. "When you came out of the practice room you looked like you were gonna cry."

"Hyunjin just told me to leave. It's nothing serious." You shrugged. "I tried to convince him to take a break but he didn't want it."

"So he told you to leave?"

Again you shrugged.

"Excuse me." You got up and grabbed your coffee and went outside to get some air.

You sat on a bench drinking your coffee again. You then suddenly started to cry. Your head went back to the horrible memories with Adrian. Then someone sat down next to you on the bench and you paid no attention to them. Until you feel a jacket get placed around your cold shoulders. You looked up and saw Hyunjin, eyes red as if he was crying himself with a guilty look on his face.

"Were you crying?" You whispered to him.

"I caused this to happen." He barely choked out. "I made you feel unimportant. I'm not supposed to do that, I'm suppose to make you feel safe and protected."

"No Hyunjin that's not true-"

"All you wanted to do was talk to me and tell me to take a break and I didn't listen to you." He said, as you put your head down. He looks at you and pulls you into him, wrapping both of his arms tightly around you.

"I'm sorry Y/n. You mean the world to me. I made you feel unsafe didn't I?"

You shook your head.

"No Hyunjin, no. I'm sorry, okay? I shouldn't have disturbed you." He leans his head on yours.

"Don't be sorry. You didn't disturb me. I was just tired and I know that's no excuse." He says, kissing your head. You then look up at him and kiss his lips. You both then smiled at each other.

"I love you." He says. "I shouldn't have done that. I'm an idiot."

"I love you too. And you're not an idiot."

"I'm your idiot." He says. You giggle.
